Engineering graduate of U. of Houston, Masters in Marketing from UCLA. 35 years in Toy biz (17 @ Mattel, balance of years with own company. Most of career spent living and working in the Orient. My thirty years of adventure and experiences living and working in the Far East gives me the voice of authority in my writings of Asian business and crime, and how the two are considered one in the same.I was immediately struck as a young man of the Oriental's obsession with power and greed, gambling and sex, and the need to win at any cost. Their driving force of "Face", and the life threatening humiliation of losing it. I have spent my share of time in little known back-water ports around Asia, learning and applying the rules of the East; knowing when a business deal is done, when to run, believe only half of what you see, and nothing of what you are told; survival goes in the plus column.

On today's show I discuss the continuing nature of the struggle between the world's global powers, America, Russia and China. I've been discussing these facts for weeks now and that my analyses have been echoed by major news outlets and political leaders. The hallmark but not the only criteria of a global power is their ability to have a manned space program. America, although not presently and not for some years now, Russia and China are all; therefore "Global Powers" and that along with other conditions you will not hear about in other outlets are the reasons and the direction behind the recent aggressiveness of Russian and China. Then, on the show I read an insightful article from the Manhattan Declaration discussing the nature of the discourse regarding homosexual "marriage" and the fact that Christianity's opposition to it is not based in bigotry but in the desire to adhere to God's plan for life and is not likely to change. Lastly, there are two articles regarding Mexico that I shared. One deals with the sad conditions but remarkable performance on intelligence exams of a poor girl in Matamoros. And Mattel tries again with a Barbie doll that represent Mexican culture with a Barbie in mariachi attire and I like it.

No more buying expensive servers and upgrading software applications – you can now have all this taken care of automatically for a set fee. New research has revealed that small and medium-sized businesses using Cloud technology are much more likely to experience positive financial and operational results. Despite this fact, though, just 14 percent of surveyed small businesses have embraced Cloud computing as a solution. Well, the good news is that you can avoid being one of those companies that fails to take advantage of this important business trend.
