Born and raised in the Bahamas, Chico Johnson relocated to America where he spent a considerable amount of time learning the art of music. Born into a musical family, Chico was exposed to music from a young age and by taking influences from all genres, he created his own unique style and sound. Chico spends much of his time traveling between Australia, America and the Bahamas with his family and is now one of the most talented and versatile artists on the Urban scene in Melbourne today!
Chico first fell in love with music at the age of 4 when his mother introduced him to the likes of Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and Percy Sledge. He started singing when he was 12 years old on the blocks of Winterhaven, Florida. Since then he has been inspired by artists such as Boyz II Men, Tank, Joe, Musiq Soul Child, Mary J Blidge, Donell Jones and all of the Motown artists from the 60's through to the 80's. He has now been professionally recording for 10 years and his dream is to touch the world and make a difference, especially amongst the youth, through his music and his Production and Charity companies “CheekyMac Productions” & "CheekyMac Charities".
Chico is proficient in all Urban genres. He can mix a set to comprise of R&B, Soul, Rap and Gospel songs If simplicity is what you seek, he can stick to just one genre and still put on a solid set each with an incredible message. No two sets are the same. Each show he puts on is tailor made for the audience and no time is wasted on delivering a fiery and inspiring performance. From the track selection to the messages he delivers, you can tell it’s more than just the music he brings to the stage. His presence and spirit alone, is set apart from the rest!
We have spent a lot of time on communication and how the most important person to learn to communicate with is yourself. Yes, you need to be brutally honest with yourself, and that does not mean that you should beat yourself up. It means when you are thinking about an invitation to participate, whether it is directly about you or one of your family or friends, you must talk to yourself like you do when you are sharing secrets about you to that special person that you can share anything with. When it comes to those deep secrets, it should really be you first, then share with others. Today we'll talk about not only the value of communicating truthfully, but what kind of things might get in the way of doing so...
are there words that might trigger discomfort?
do 'titles' intimidate us?
how does our judgement or opinion get in the way of seeing the truth?
does the way we feel give us clues?
Bring your questions to the conversation with Delrae and Mary K from the Life Learning Center of Self and let's bring you into an honest relationship with SELF!

Welcome to Music 4 Life® Radio where we practice healing Mind, Body and Spirit by transforming B.S. (Belief Systems)™ to support healthy lifestyles! September's theme of ReSet, ReAlign, BeginAgain is explored with host Judith Pinkerton, licensed music therapist, mother, wife, daughter and founder of Music 4 Life, and her special guest Mary Swick, Feng Shui Consultant at MarySwick.com.
At Music 4 Life®, music is the core of all that we do, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses with a favorite composer Ludwig Van Beethoven's quote: "Music is the Mediator betweeen the Life of the Senses and the Life of the Spirit." So what does that mean, and how do we transform belief systems? We plug you into yourself differently with music at the core, discovering that when you push play on music you find out how the music is really playing you. We support you being responsible for the choices you make to create a healthy lifestyle, connecting you to the Life of your Spirit through the Life of your Senses.
Today's music choices are explored to understand how we use music to stay positively engaged in the game connecting with others. Find our music recommendations and Judith's commentary at Music4LifeBLOG.
Learn how your personal music listening habits may affect your desire to connect with others in Judith's TEDxTalk "Music Powers Potential: Building Mental Fitness."
How could someone who is spirit, having lived for all eternity in the past, become human? Was Jesus a human being just like us? And when He was a human being, was He still God? Jesus was prophesied to be “God with us” (Matthew 1:23). Jesus was a human being and He was also God. There was never a time when He ceased to be who He always was. His identity did not change. When He was in the womb of Mary, He was God. When He was a baby boy lying in the manger, He was God. When He was a youngster growing up in Nazareth, He was God. And when He was dying, He was God. As a spirit being, prior to His human birth, He was infinite in knowledge, power and presence. As God He would know everything and have unlimited power to act on any object, anywhere. But if He was human, He could not do everything. He would be limited to the normal abilities any normal human being would have. He could not have been both infinite and finite simultaneously.
A physical body with physical limitations When Jesus became flesh He was still God in terms of His identity, but He was nevertheless a human being in every sense of the word. Jesus had a physical body. His closest disciple attests that He was a physical person: “That which was from
