    in Religion

The Female Solution w/ Naimah Latif

A woman may have many men that find her attractive and even desire to marry her. And even though it's customary for the man to be the one in pursuit of the woman, as the saying goes, "A man chases a woman until she catches him." A man proposes, but a woman decides whether or not to accept. There are reasons women decide to mary the men who are their husbands. For men who may have wondered how to secure that woman they love, today's show may reveal some eye-opening realities. It's not always the money, the looks, the house, the car, the clothes. Many women are seeking specific inner qualities that define manhood. What really wins a woman's heart? Listen as women answer the question, "What made me decide to marry him?"

    Tough Talk Christian Radio

    in Christianity

Tough Talk Christian Radio with Host Tony Gambone with special guest Kay Bransford & Dan Farnow:

Kay Bransford - Chief Curator of MemoryBanc, Kay left a role as a senior executive in a Fortune 200 firm to help care for her ailing parents. In the process, she created a system that would help families organize important documents, accounts and assets as well as navigate some legal roadblocks that were unexpected and impacted her ability to help her parents. Now Kay is a modern-day Paul Revere warning families that divide and conquer in her book, MemoryBanc: Your Workbook to Organizing Life, about the importance of documenting online personal, financial, medical, and household details so the information can be easily found and shared with loved ones if and when it’s needed. Today, MemoryBanc delivers an award-winning system to families around the globe to help organize and protect their information in both print and digital formats.

Dan Farnow is an author who has written the book "The Quest For Marriage," which is an off-beat, unorthodox, and humorous guide for Christian men looking to get married and what the journey is like, with no subject off limits. I serve as a group leader at my church where I assist in healing ministry and teaching Bible Studies. He has had his book published for over a year. The reason for writing it is that I did not see a Christian relationship book about dating that was guy-friendly. Most books out there are about standards that should be kept, but not a whole lot about practical obstacles that will be faced.

Is it is better to be married than to live alone?

    in Romance

Tonight we are talking about the merits of singlehood and whether we are happier, more satisfied with life, more prosperous, healthy or sexually fulfilled when we live alone. According to the office for national statistics in London 43% of women 18-49 are not married and a woman aged 25-44 is five times more likely to be living alone than she was in 1973. There is evidence in a survey conducted by Relate and YuGov which found that 81% of people who are married or living together feel good about themselves compared to 60% of singles. This obviously depends on the quality of the relationship. It has been found single people feel better about themselves than those in average relationships. In 2010 Kinsey found that among women aged 30-39. 12% of those who were single had sex only a few times a month compared to 50% of married women. According to another report women who have high self esteem and are confident about their bodies had high levels of satisfaction whether they were single or not.
