Author Mark David Gerson visits Reverie Radio

    in Art

Join host Lori Hays for an exciting conversation with author Mark David Gerson for a conversation about his literary journey and his newest book: Birthing Your Book: Even If You Don't Know What It's About

"I like to joke that my Muse tricked me into writing and, in a sense, that's true. In public school and through most of university, I did everything I could to avoid writing. I opted instead for subjects like math; that way, I minimized the dangers of not only being wrong but of being judged harshly for having been wrong.

"But my Muse had other plans, as I write about in Acts of Surrender: A Writer's Memoir. Starting in high school when I was pushed into doing the publicity for two musical theater productions, I was slowly, subtly and unconsciously transformed into the writer I never thought I wanted to be. Within a decade, I was freelancing full-time as a self-taught writer and editor.

"What I have discovered over the years is that The Call To Write is one I can't ignore, which is why I titled my second book The Voice of the Muse: Answering the Call to Write. I can't not write any more than I can't not breathe.

"Today, when I'm not working on my own creative projects, I'm helping to guide others -- writers and non-writers alike -- on theirs. I do it with my books and recordings. I do it in my workshops, webinars and seminars. And I do it one-on-one as a creativity catalyst, a term I invented to take coaching and mentoring to dynamic, more empowered levels.

    Darrel Gardner Horsemanship Show

    in Social Networking

Join me Ronald Spikes Corey Jackson and our guest Reggie of Stack House Stables tonight

Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:

    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.

    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners

    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.

Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

A Look Back at 2014 and Prophetic Insight of 2015

    in Spirituality

We are taking a look back at 2014 and the lesson learned during the year.   Many could say that 2014 was the most challenging year of their life and others will say the most successful.  We have seen everything from social injustice heightened with the murders of Mike Brown and Eric Gardner to spiritual lethargy in the church.

Joining Apostle Norma Gray this week on the Gray Matter Show for a roundtable discussion are two anointed women - Pastor Sheila Ashley of Total Agape Healing and Deliverance International Ministries in Warren Robbins Georgia and Apostle BJ Relefourd of Vision Life Ministries in Lawrenceville, GA as they share prophetically a retrospective view of 2014 and insight for 2015.

    I AM MORNING GLORY

    in Christianity

35In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. 36Simon and his companions searched for Him Mark 1:35-36

    I arise today
    embraced in the arms
    of God the Father,
    empowered by the strength
    of God the Spirit,
    immersed in the love
    of God the Son.
    I arise today
    in the company
    of the Trinity,
    Father, Spirit and Son.
    I arise today
