On this episode we will be interviewing Luis Collazo, Collazo is coming off a very big win over Victor Ortiz in which he knocked him out in the second round. That win lead to some really big fights opening up for him from his recent signing to the powerful Al Haymon. After the merger of Collazo and Haymon, Haymon quickly pitted Collazo in huge fight on the biggest stage in boxing. He is slated to face Amir Khan on May 3rd. As always we will touch on news and notes plus take calls from you! The voice of the people.
It happened. Luis Collazo landed a huge punch, and Face Lube™ was not enough to bring Victor Ortiz's legs to life. Oscar de la Hoya tweeted, the internet imploded and there was generalized boxing chaos. That might be a slight exaggeration, but it was another Ortiz escapade. James Foley of Bad Left Hook and Queensberry Rules' Patrick Connor should have a tasteless joke or two to share on the incident, as well as recapping of Gennady Golovkin vs. Osumanu Adama and more news. Thanks for tuning in!

Remember Antonio Bay of the coast of Oregon? How about Stevie Wayne from KAB radio? Remember the first time you actually realized The Fog could actually be creepy, frightening and fatal? Thanks to the Brilliance of John Carpenter and Debra Hill you just may not look Fog the same. The first time I saw it in the theaters, my friend and I exited the theater only to find a heavy fog had settled into South King County, Washington where I attended high school. When she dropped me off as we were saying our goodbyes outside halfway between her car and my front door we heard a strange noise from something hidden in "pea soup" fog that night. We grabbed each other as if embracing could somehow protect us. In later years we laughed about it, but it sure went a long way to the mystic and ambiance of the movie that night.
Join the discussion about the things that go bump in the fog and why simple weather events can instill so much fear. John Carpenter was a master at creating fearful tension with every day situations, but there are also relationship issues in the film that will be fun to discuss as well. See you there on Philmchology just beware!
