Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen and his guest Robert Tremblay & Maxwell Ivey:

Robert Tremblay has been a Management Trainer nationally for 18 years before being diagnosed terminal and surviving after a near death experience that changed my life. Prior I was in Law Enforcement with my last position being named "the youngest chief of police in the country." I left Law Enforcement after various injuries and disillusionment after arresting the entire board of selectman and road agent in my town for conspiracy. Prior to this I was a decorated US Army Veteran. I have been a national Trainer and accredited speaker in sales management and spent many years traveling the country teaching. After my experience I have set a course on writing a book due out in the spring of 15 called "Twenty Seconds". I plan on advocating for my disease and starting a foundation to give back to various charities that assited me during my illness.

Maxwell Ivey a 48 year old totally blind gentleman who grew up in a family of carnival owners. All I ever wanted to do was to continue in my father’s and grandfather’s footsteps and be part of the family business. As you can tell by reading this that isn’t where I ended up. I did help in the business over the years, but couldn’t sustain it after the early death of my father from lung cancer. I then turned to helping people sell their amusement equipment. I do that on my other site the midway marketplace.

To answer this question, it’s probably best that I share with you a defining moment and resulting compelling story that brought me to where I am today, coaching people like you on exactly what to do to find and meet Quality Men after 50. That defining moment in my life happened after I had just divorced my second husband. http://lessonsofthelost.com/book/author

One day, in the middle of the night, I woke up in a pool of sweat. All I kept saying to myself is, “What have I done? Why did I leave this man who at least I knew… just to struggle in the dating game trying to get dates with not so great men? I’m over 50 now…who will even want me at this point in my life…having been married twice on top of it? Am I just fated to live my life alone?” http://www.findaqualityman.com/about-2/

Lifes Issues with Lloyd Rosen and his guest Phila Vocia & Aileen McCabe-Maucher.

Phila Vocia  spent the school age years of my life preparing according to what we could afford, in terms of education and training, to work. And believe you me, I have been working, working, working. I have a website www.sensiblework.com . Only to find out that there are economic forces that the common man or woman can't fight. Keep the bills low and enjoy the status of life that you are in. If you can easily move up the ladder do it, but don't put yourself in too much debt. It's best to get an affordable roof over your head before you're too old and tired to accomplish a safe, secure old age. I subcontracted 2 homes, have been a landlady, even a constuction laborer. I have done many clerical jobs in the workforce and sales jobs, and marketing and owned an auto supply store.

Aileen McCabe-Maucher is the author of the book The Inner Peace Diet which was published by Penguin Books and released in December 2008. Aileen is a licensed clinical social worker, registered nurse and registered yoga teacher who lives and works in Wilmington, Delaware. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Pennsylvania and loves showing people how to relax and tune into their own deepest wisdom. When she is not teaching, counseling clients or carting her family around town in her Honda Element, Aileen is fervently working on her dissertation and/or burning dinner. Please visit Aileen’s website at theinnerpeacediet.com to receive a free The Inner Peace Diet ebooklet.

    Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen

Life's Issues with Lloyd Rosen with his guest Chuck Koehler

Negative, False Core Schemas That Caused 35 Years of Intense Suffering At an early age, because of my dad's, mom's, and stepdad's inabilities to meet my physical and emotional needs as a baby and young child, I begin developing cognitive schemas about myself, others, and the world that had caused severe depression, isolation, OCD, anxiety, panic attacks, social phobia, etc. over the last 35 years. I developed false beliefs that I was unlovable, worthless, defective, a mistake, "not enough", a freak of nature, that men and women can't be trusted or depended upon, people aren't safe, the world isn't safe, people will only abandon me, reject me, yell at me, ignore me, want something from me, take advantage of me, that I can't allow myself to get close to anyone because it is too painful (because we moved all of the time, so I had to leave schools), and that I will not be supported or cared for by GOD, the world, and other people. So, as I went through life with these core schemas intake the universe kept providing me with opportunities ("triggers") to heal my earlier suppressed emotional pain and resulting core beliefs by being able to question my false thoughts and feeling my suppressed emotional pain instead of numbing stuffing, or distracting myself from uncomfortable emotions. As I endured more-and-more neglect, abuse, and trauma in my family, at the hands of a bully, living with a tooth deformity, and 15 years of chronic myofascial pain and severe isolation, my core beliefs and thoughts about myself and others became more solidified in my mind like they were the "Truth", like they were one of the commandments or a law or a fact.

Lloyd Rosen was born in New York City. His family moved to Fair Lawn, NJ where Lloyd attended school all the way through high school. After high school Lloyd attended a local community college but stopped after one semester and enlisted in the Air Force. After being diagnosed as being unfit for military duty he was discharged with an honorable discharge and returned to New Jersey and found a job in the hospitality field.

In 1978 Lloyd met his first wife and relocated across the country to Seattle.  Lloyd was married for 12 years and has two children from that marriage. In 1998 Lloyd met his second wife and together they set off to see the United States. They moved first to Nashville, TN then to Jacksonville Fl. where in 2001Lloyd, had his first real experience with major depression. It was there that Lloyd first thought about and planned to commit suicide.

Fortunately he did not fulfill his desire. He got some help but did not get the real help that changed his whole life until 2006 when he and his wife had moved to Texas. It was then while seeing a therapist that Lloyd started writing.

He ended up publishing his first book titled Search for Happiness My Journey from Darkness into the Light. Which he hopes to use to help other people realize they are not alone in their fight with depression. Most recently Lloyd was divorced from his second wife.  Lloyd loves bowling competitively as well as continuing to write he is finishing up his second book. He also enjoys traveling and sightseeing; he has been to 46 of the 50 states.

Lifes Issues with Lloyd Rosen with his guest Rhonda Moore and Phyllis Gambone

Rhonda Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She began her own personal healing journey in the 1990's and her desire to be as whole as possible put her on a path that would culminate in her work today. She volunteered at Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault centers in the Northeast after hearing a woman share her story of survival and restoration. When she moved with her family to North Carolina, she became involved in a prison ministry and accompanied the ministry chaplain to the county jail and to prisons in the Blue Ridge Mountain area. The chaplain contracted bone cancer and died within a short period of time. The jail and the women's correctional facility were left hanging and asked Rhonda to become their chaplain. She did this work for 5 years and began developing the Peace Through Understanding Method for healing and restoration of the heart, soul, spirit, mind and body based on her own healing process. Rhonda founded Peace Through Understanding Psychological Services in 2007.

Phyllis E. Gambone has been in the wellness field for more than 20 years. Her passion is to educate and share what she has learned in her journey to recovery. To maintain proper nutrition and healthier food choices are a main factor in todays world..
