There are a lot of people out here calling themselves Christian but I often wonder do they really know what that means. Jesus said to become one of his disciples we must pick up our cross and follow him. That means dying to yourself and living for Him. How can you really follow someone you do not know? Or you do not have a personal relationship with or you do not fully understand. I mean do we follow because our parent raised us to do so, or it’s the politically correct thing to do? Where's your Gethsemane? I will go over these things on todays show.

Staying young takes an understanding that body, mind, and spirit are interconnected. What good is a “young” 90-year-old body if your mind and spirit haven't grown old? Or, how would you feel if your mind was sharp, but physically and spiritually you weren’t at your peak? You get the idea. Without the balance of all three, staying young wouldn’t be worthwhile.
So how do we do this? How do we stay young in body, mind, and spirit? What steps do we take?

Isa 48:1 Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the Holy One of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness. 2 For they call themselves of the holy city, who trust themselves upon the Holy One of Israel; The LORD of hosts is HIS name. 3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of MY mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass. 4 Because I knew that you are obstinate, and thy neck is an iron sinew, and thy brow brass; 5 I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I showed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol has done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, has commanded them. 6 You have heard, now seeing all this; will not ye declare it? I have showed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them. 7 They are created now, what was not from the beginning; even before the day when thou heard them not; lest you should say, Behold, I knew them. 8 Yea, you heard not; yea, you knew not; yea, from that time that your ears were not opened: for I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and was called a transgressor from the womb. 9 For MY name's sake will I defer MY anger, and for MY praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off. 10 Behold, I shall refine thee, ... I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. 11 For MY own sake, even for MY own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give MY glory unto another. Acts 9:31 “Then the church throughout all* Judea, Galilee and Samaria enjoyed a time of peace. It was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord. “
*In the original Greek, it is:
Acts 9:31 ?
The term in bold commonly translated as ‘church throughout all’ is in Greek ‘”εκκλησια καθ? ?λης”—pronounced “Ekklesia Kath olos” or the Church Universal or some might say The Catholic Church, since Kath olos is the same term used by St Ignatius for the Church in his letter. So is it valid to say that the Catholic Church is indeed identified as Christ’s Church in the 9th chapter of Acts?
