We’ve all heard of it—You’ve gotta let it go! But how does this work out practically? Most of us who have tried found out that releasing things comes with a great deal of intended effort and patience with ourselves. Tune in this week as Lisa Jones and I discuss the practice of letting go. We often start with fixed ideas about the way things are or how people are supposed to be, but it's not easy. We’ve all taken some cherished idea of our own and tried to change it; we find that the resistance is very strong. The mind likes the security that comes with long-held ideas. This show reminds us that a spiritual life requires us to constantly examine and revise our ideas. More importantly, spiritual growth cannot happen without
Do you have trouble letting go of relationships, whether long-term family relationships, romantic relationships, relationships with food, and more? Then this is the show for you. I, too, have trouble letting go of people, experiences and relationships, because we as human beings enjoy certain experiences and we tend to get attached to them, but it is also important to remember to let go of all things, people and experiences for two reasons: 1) they are not ours to keep and we will understand this after this current lifetime’s incarnation AND 2) when we let go of all of these experiences, we can meet new people and have new experiences that can alter our reality for the better. Therefore, this show—like ‘The Art of Presence Show’—reminds you that Earthly life is just a lifetime of experiences—good or bad, depending on how you see them. Enjoy each person and experience to the max. and then let go and realize that there is another journey ahead—one where you can learn more about yourself as a human being and more about life. Namaste and God Speed…

There is a turning point that recharges us when we have spent too much time in the dark. Usually it is when we are letting go of the old and making way for the new. Tune in this week as Lisa Jones and I discuss new beginnings and returning. We often forget that this stage of the work starts with rest. We are so programmed to hustle and DO that we move too fast. By returning to clarity and truth we gain new momentum. Any cycle of change that moves us from the dark to the light demands that we recharge ourselves. Few realize that this time in the dark is a form of hibernation, allowing our energy to renew itself. We are strengthened by rest. We’ve experienced this insight when recuperating after an illness or during the slow return of trust after a period of estrangement. Tonight’s show speaks to moments of new beginnings.
If you were to put 100 people in a group discussion, each person's idea of LETTING GO would take on a different meaning. Maybe one person would tell how they had to let go of fear, another of addictions, another of a person, and the list goes on.....
Letting go is that custom designed act of God DEALING with us on a personal level. What do we need to let go of? He knows best. He wants to be FIRST in our lives.
Sometimes, we will feel as if God wants us to let go of EVERYTHING. That feels way scary; but when we do, we need only to hold onto Him! Are you ready to let go and be freer to fly higher with the One who created you?

Letting go is so much easier said than done. Our tendency is to hold on with all our might…if we just held on a little tighter, we would get what we wanted. If only we could hold on a little stronger, then we would be happy. Then one day we realize, it’s not in the holding on, it’s in the letting go. When we learn to let go, we are free. By how do we do that? I was never taught how to let go in school. Were you?
We learn through the School of Life. Today on Love, Trust & Pixie Dust, MIT molecular biologist turned philosophical author Greg Marcus, Ph.D. and I have an important lesson to share with you. Come join us as we share a radical method for letting go.
Kimberly Smythe's courageous story of finally meeting the daughter she gave up for adoption is not the storybook tale we often hear about in Hollywood. Kimberly's new book Letting Go Again: A Birth Mother's Tale of Adoption, Reunion, Separation, and Growth honestly and compassionately shares the real, poignant story of Kimberly giving up her baby daughter for adoption and their troubled relationship when they are reunited almost two decades later.
Kimberly was born in Madrid, Spain. As a child, she lived the nomadic life of an Air Force brat. She has four grown children, three of whom call her Mom. Kimberly chose to write about her first child, whom she gave up for adoption, so that others might understand what many women endure when circumstances force them to give up their child. Writing about being a birth mother, or as she prefers to call it, a natural mother, helped her in her quest for understanding. She hopes it will also help others understand what it is like to let go of a child, and then be reunited, only to have to let go again.

In this segment Yuya discuss the pitfalls of sustaining torn allegiances to religious, political, and social paradigms with contradictory imperatives. This broadcast deals with the cognitive checks one needs to go through as a part of the process of letting go of methods and modalities that have outlasted their relevance.
He highlights the rhythm of usury that exist in a relationship with someone who wants to acquire the positive stimulus and wisdom of another culture without making an investment in the longevity of that wisdom and culture.
The lessons here also tie into his videos about "Necromancy" and "Integrity". (Youtube.com/SunzofSankofa)
