RadioFreeRover presents Derby day and the Baltimore riots

    in Fun

The Bad and the ugly :

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The state fire marshal’s office have charged a 22-year-old man for cutting a firefighter hose during the Baltimore riots Monday.

According to the fire marshal, Greg Bailey was identified as the man who “intentionally damaging a charged water supply fire hose” when firefighters were battling the blaze at the CVS at North and Pennsylvania avenues.

Really? You cut a f'ing fire hose after looters set a store on fire, you do it live on TV and do it again.

    Darwin!

    Don't mess with mom!

The teenage boy publicly shamed when his mom smacked him around at the Baltimore riots this week said he knows she "really cares about me."

A video shows Michael Singleton being dragged from the protests and whacked by his mother, Toya Graham, after she saw him on television and recognized a key piece of clothing.

"What caught my eye was his sweatpants," she told ABC News. "Even though he had on all black, I knew those sweatpants he had on, they had a stripe on the side of it and then his eye contact met mine. And I knew that was my son."

Aquarium Biotopes As Presented By Sam Garcia Jr.

    in Pets

    Why Biotope?

There are many good reasons for setting up an aquarium that tries to simulate the natural habitat of fishes. The foremost is probably from an ecological viewpoint. With the destruction of the tropical rain-forests worldwide it is important to preserve the native surroundings of our fish before they disappear forever.

Tropical fish interacting in their natural waters are completely different than the community set up we are all use to. This leads to the second reason, with all the advances in aquatic technology maintaining such a tank is now easier than ever and obtaining the proper species whether fish or plants is usually not difficult either. Marijuana in America: Medical & Recreation

    in Lifestyle

We are witnesses to the advent of a new age:  a medical and recreational one.  And unless you’ve been behind a cloud of smoke, we’ve recently witnessed more than 20 states approve marijuana use for medicinal purposes.  Fadia Bascom, our awesome guest host, takes over the airwaves once again to discuss marijuana in America.  Her two special guests are Larry Love and Sohum Shah.

Sohum Shah is the Chief Operating Officer of the Cannabis Commodities Exchange (CCX). CCX is the premier online wholesale transaction platform for state-licensed canna-businesses in Colorado and was launched at the 2014 High Times US Cannabis Cup in Denver. Soon after, CCX expanded operations to Washington's adult-use system.

Larry  Love has been a patient and advocate for the Medical Cannabis Program (MC) in New Mexico since 2009. He also produces and hosts a weekly live MMJ Talk Show on the internet. For two years, Love managed one of Santa Fe’s first Medical Marijuana Dispensaries which specialized in front-end sales and patient cannabis consultations. In addition, Love's a LOTTO expert and has appeared on several networks including NBC, ABC, CBS, and CNN.

    Girls Loves Sports Too

    in Sports

Tonight's show I will talk about the NBA playoffs and the teams who were eliminated already. In addition I want to touch base on stories that are happening while the NBA playoffs are in session like Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love injury and him being out for at least 4-6 weeks. Also JR smith being suspended for two games and how his suspension can potentially hurt the cavs in round two of the playoffs playing against Chicago. Finally I will give my opinion on what teams will make it out of the second round of the playoffs and then give my pick on what teams will make it to the finals and who will win the NBA finals. In addition i  will talk to Coach E  about his team ‘’ the saints ‘’ and also ask him '' What is one lesson you teach your boys through basketball that they can apply to their personal lives''. Finally I will get his pick on who will win the NBA finals.
