    CPAC 2015

    in Politics

Scott Walker hit all the right notes when he took the stage at the Conservative Political Action Conference on Thursday to address a standing-room-only crowd — even gamely handling a heckler.Walker was talking up Republicans’ push to pass a right-to-work law in Wisconsin, a measure to weaken labor unions, when a heckler stood up and began shouting in the packed ballroom. What he said wasn’t clear, but Walker handled it like a pro: He quipped, “Apparently the protesters come [here] from Wisconsin as well.”

Looking to shore up his own bona fides on foreign policy, Walker went out of his way to tell the audience that, as governor, he receives FBI briefings about potential threats to his state. And he pointed to his 2011 face-off with public-employee unions as preparing him for these sorts of situations.“If I can take on 100,000 protesters, I can do the same across the world,” National Review
Rand Paul wins CPAC straw poll.

The Agenda: Turbulence returns for Abbott Government and data retention

    in Politics Progressive

Australia's federal government after hitting the reset button (again) are finding themselves once again facing turbulent times. Not long after the fever-pitch of a leadership spill the leaks started again. It seems that this government with the current leadership cannot or will not accept that they need to change the style.

And on top of the turbulence in the Abbott Government, it turns out the so-called progressive Labor Party will acquiesce to the ruling government on data retention and further destroy Australians civil liberties.

QARLive: Southern Charm W/ Angie & Katie: America: Stepping Up To The Challenge

    in Politics Conservative

With all the chaos surrounding us in the world today, America is looking for a leader who will step up to the challenge. The fragmented GOP needs to come together to put forth a candidate who will get our country back to the founding principles that our great nation was based on: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The world has run amuck with violent terrorists who seek the destruction of all they oppose. The whole world is looking for a leader to exterminate this threat and be a beacon of hope to all in these devastating events that have occurred.

Our guest tonight is a mother who also faces a challenge. Her autistic son is having surgery which will affect her son greatly as change and new experiences can cause great distress to someone who is on the autism spectrum. They are looking to move into a ground apartment before the surgery because the stairs in the current apartment will pose a real problem.

When will become a nation that realizes the every day challenges we face and step up to the plate? America, we need to recognize the value of every human life and the unique qualities that each person brings. Let us become that beacon of hope and step up to meet the challenges we face.

    GOP front runners

    Government overreach / net neutrality

    Isis being investigated in US
