For thousands of years parents found your future spouse. It wasn't until 1700 that the first newspaper ad for a bride hit the presses which led to the professional matchmaker (which might be extinct if it weren't for Million Matchmaker, Patti Stanger). From there what we know as modern day dating didn't begin until the 1930's. It was a short hop to 1994 when kiss.com, one of the orignal dating sites, got its start. Now, in addtion to the traditional dating sites (match.com, eHarmony, etc.) we have Tinder, Hindge and other apps for finding Mr./Ms. Right or Mr./Ms. Right-Now. It used to be so easy back when mom, dad or Mrs. Dolly Levi selected your husband/wife! Now we have choices, but too many?
Confused? Concerend? Frustrated? Fatigued? Feeling rejected? I am here to help!
During the show we will discuss
How do you decide which sites to use?
How to create a productive profile.
How to battle ODF (Online Dating Fatigue), includng fear of rejection
Join us for what is sure to be a lively conversation! Feel free to send you questions to me ahead of time to firstname.lastname@example.org.

When life gets really busy competing priorities sometime leave our personal needs in the dust. We are here to remind of about the "me time" you deserve. You will also learn how it impacts your health, well-being, the impact on your longevity and how it can improve your relationships.
We depend on balance in so many facets of our lives for health and well-being. It is equally important for the long-term health of our relationships.
I created The Perfect Heart image for my own use when I recognized a lack of balance as a factor in the dissolution of my marriage. I also used it to create the healthy relationship I am in today. This is why I call The Perfect Heart a "personal relationship management tool". Creating a great relationship isn't nearly has hard to maintaining.
"Perfect" is a relative term to the circumstances in your life. The questions is, "Is the balance in your life "perfect"? Tonight we are going to perform a simple exercise so you can see your relationship balance as it exists today using The Perfect Heart. So have a pad of paper and a pen handy for the show.

In this episode of The Kim Korte Show the topic of soul mates will go in a direction you may not have thought of before and prhaps change your mind as to if soul mates really do exist.
Topics to be covered;

My guest is Debra Pyka, a mother who is trying to bring awareness to not only prevent suicide, but to warn of the dangers of sports and head trauma to our youth. She will be discussing her son Joseph's life story, playing sports, CTE which led to years of depression and ultimately, his suicide. Joseph's brother Seth will join us, since they played sports all through their childhood together. She has tried to contact politicians, White House and Michelle Obama, with no one concerned or responding to her. She also wants to shed light on the responsibility of the NFL with the research started 20 years ago, to warn all parents of the dangers of concussions/head trauma and future effects, which the NFL denied for many years. More young people are dying from sports related injuries than ever. sportslegacy.org/research/legacy-donors/joseph-chernach Debbie was one of the Mom's who among many, including Kimberly Archie, went to the Capital last month during Brain Injury Awareness Month 2016.

“The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not ‘get over’ the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to.”
? Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
“We think sometimes we're only drawn to the good, but we're actually drawn to the authentic. We like people who are real more than those who hide their true selves under layers of artificial niceties”

In light of what's going on with Lil Kim, and all of the alterations that she's made to her skin, it has me thinking.....For people who gets plastic surgery, wear excessive makeup, weaves, bleach their skin, get butt injections etc, Is there a bigger/deeper meaning for them doing so? Lil Kim explained that she never thought that she was pretty, because people use to talk about her. Other people have been accussed of trying to be white or shaming their own race. What are your thoughts about this topic? I think that in certain cases, it can be much deeper than it appears.
At what point does physical enhancements/alterations become too much? Is there an identity crisis, of those who feels a NEED to enhance their look, to excessive degrees? Are we trying to conform to someone else's standard of beauty? Are we upset with our bodies, and who we are, physically?
