  • Awakening the Goddess Through Astrology - on Living Astrology 12-18-14

    in Spirituality

AWAKENING THE GODDESS THROUGH ASTROLOGY. On today's show we will be discussing Juno, Vesta, Pallas Athena and Ceres, collectively known as 'The Goddess Asteroids' along with Black Moon Lilith. Together, all these astrological energies allow us to paint a more complex portrait of how the Goddess, The Sacred Feminine is rising through all Beings at this time. Each of these energies is truly multidimensional and casts so much light onto our pasts, present and potential futures. There is so much to be learned from a study of these astrological bodies and we will continue to deepen our knowledge about them in the years to come.

Priestess Bairavee Balasubramaniam, PhD is a scholar-researcher, Goddess worshiper, motivational speaker, intuitive astrologer and poetess. She sees the Movement of Spirit in every waking moment, every form, every Chapter in this Divine Dance of Life and Existence. She runs three FB pages devoted to the Rising Consciousness of the Divine Feminine and writes extensively on her blog. As ‘a Priestess with a PhD’, Bairavee weaves her intuitive knowledge-through-gnosis, along with her academic commitment to in depth-research and analytical rigor together. Seeing spirituality as ‘not just something you do for a few minutes a day’ or ‘not just what is written in texts’, she explores the intersections between the spiritual, social, political, ritual, cultural and transcendental. Some of her topics of interest are: the breaking of spiritual stereotypes, the difference between the text and embodiment of spiritual understanding, the notion of ‘cultural appropriation’ and the challenges of cross-cultural interpretation of spiritual insights - and – living, speaking, writing and embodying ‘The Path of the Dark Goddess’.‏

KNOW ME THE CREATOR by MY ATTRIBUTES and get to know your soul's attributes

    in Religion

This is yaum al jumah, Safar 27, 1436 on the Hijrah Calendar.  The hijrah calendar is based on the lunar( moon ) cycle.  The moon has been followed in its travels for the human being's deThisvelopment starting from birth and even before that.  The female's menstrual cycle is calculated on the moon. The gregorian calendar has its attributes which reminds the human being of gods that were worshipped throughout our human history.  Throughout the hijrah calendar developmental processes occur for the human being and reminds the human being of its connection with THE CREATOR( The ONE GI-D), of heaven and earth and all between.

heaven and earth and all between.  We have given credence to them by placing value upon their existence and positon of rulership over others.  The months connote the power of man as greater( ex. July -Julius Ceaser and August-  Augustus; Ceaser ). The examples of so called gods months are January, pertaining to god of gates/opening doors - Janus; February- pertaining to purification - Februa; March - pertaining to god of war; April for goddess Aphrodite - goddess of love /beauty;  May or Maia, the great one-goddess of spring;  June  for Juno - goddess of marriage/well being. The original calendar had ten months prior to Julius Caeser, therefore the next months are Septem for seven, Octo for eight, Novem for nine and Decem for ten.  Turn your self to the original house established for all of humanity upon the practice of Prophet Ibrahim, worship none but The One G-D!

Rockin out in the BIG HOUSE with Danny Brooks n Lil Debi

    in Lifestyle

Please join host Frankie Picasso on Thursday, December 4th at 1:00 pm EST, when she greets  guests Danny Brooks and his wife Lil Debi, who for past 24 years have been active in prison ministry.
Danny has been in the music business since 1971 having played in blues, country, hard rock and rhythm and blues bands but his first introduction to ministry was with his father, who took Danny and his siblings, a sister and brother to the street corners of Toronto and had them recite scripture verses.
A"rough life and a 'season of rebellion' found Danny on the downslide. As it was with so many young musicians during the 70's and 80's, the drug culture captured  Danny's attention and he found himself doing time in prison for the crimes committed to pay for his  addictions to drugs and alcohol. It was during this time spent in prison that Danny attributes to his skill in writing music.
In 1987, just 3 months from being released from the Donwood Institute in Toronto where he was treated for alcohol and drug addiction, Danny came to his faith.
1991,was a good year for Danny. Not only did he become involved in Prison Ministry but he was also nominated for the Juno Award for Most Promising Male Vocalist.
Danny has been blessed with a big talent and a distinctive voice, and one thing is for sure, he is  a BORN STORY TELLER.
Performing and speaking in Prisons, Rehabs and Halfway Houses has become an important part of who Danny Brooks has become. Whenever, and where ever Danny tours, it is imperative that at least one of the above facilities is on the tour. Giving back to communities in this way allows him  to share his story, and impart hope for eternity in Christ.

Award Winning Musician, J.P. Cormier and the Hometown Battlefield

    in War

Award winning musician J.P. Cormier captures in one 4 minute song the devastation and reality of Post Traumatic Combat Disorder. This remarkable man delivers the profound message that so many of our veterans of war are coming home permanently scarred. It is not an American issue, or Canadian, it is a global issue.

Lyrics to Hometown Battlefield, He got home from service as the spring began its turn, 12 long months away, He folded up his uniform with the medals tucked inside, Started living for today, But the present could not find him, nor could his wife and kids, He was there but he was gone, Soon his only comfort was a bottle and his gun, Something right that went so wrong.

Interview with Julian Austin, Shae Dupuy & Trevor Johnson

    in Music

Country-rocker JULIAN AUSTIN - born in Sussex, New Brunswick - climbed the charts and appeared in videos on CMT with hits like Little Ol' Kisses, Hard Time Loving You, What My Heart Already Knows and Back In Your Life. His first album earned him a certified CRIA gold record (50k+ sales) and the 1997 Wrangler Rising Star Award from the Canadian Country Music Association. His first single Little Ol’ Kisses went #1 on radio and also made the CMT Top 30 Videos of 1997, followed in 1998 with the Best Country Single award at the first annual Canadian Radio Music Awards. That year Julian also earned several Juno nominations. His new radio release is his version of the Jimmy Buffet classic Margaritaville.

SHAE DUPUY is excited to release her Breakdown EP featuring the first single Grandpa’s Truck. Shae walks the fine line between dirt roads and downtown, without ever losing her small town charm. She continues writing tracks for her first full-length album to be released in 2015. “I can’t leave the house without something to write with.” she says. “That could mean my phone to type notes, or a pen and paper. Inspiration hits me at the most inconvenient times and I’ve just learned to be prepared for it.”

In 2009, TREVOR JOHNSON made the move to Nashville  - after many visits - to immerse himself in songwriting. Eventually, he moved back home to Manitoba where he performed around Winnipeg. In 2010, he won a QX 104 FM songwriting contest with first prize being a trip to the CMAs in Nashville. After finishing up his EP Footsteps in the spring of 2013 with Nashville producer Dick McVey, Trevor has been busy performing wherever he can. He headed back to the studio in early 2014. This time he recorded in Calgary with 2013 Western Canadian Recording Engineer of the Year Johnny Gasparic at MCC Recording.
