America's Constitution has been trampled on, and our prosecutorial malfeasance and county jail system are a large part of what's wrong with our system.
Additionally, the trashing of our 8th Amendment is a large part of why America's prison epidemic is out of control. America houses 25% of the world's prisoners within her own borders. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
No, there's no joke here. America has more prisons than China and Russia -- COMBINED. And China has 4 times the population of America.
In this episode, Occupy will delve into one angle on this massive problem in our country -- a "problem" that many in the prison and media lobbies are getting rich off of.

Is the U.S. immigration system broken or is the U.S. government broken?
During this episode, I will discuss how the judicial branch of our government has allowed the Bush Family Regime's immigration anarchy to continue to destroy the United States. I will also do a short review on the movie Elysium.
Since the 1990s there has been a dramatic increase of immigration in the United States, many whom are illegal. The largest population of undocumented immigrants has come from Mexico. If we look back at the history of the Reagan and Bush administration, there were many revelations of corruption there were well documented. One is known as the Iran-Contra affair.
I believe one of these cover ups was the war in Panama that was staged by is George H. W. Bush after he became president of the U.S. in the 1990s. To cover up this dirty attack on Panama, President George H. W. Bush began to open the boarders to Mexico and all Hispanic countries. Since the 1990s the Bush Family Regime has been conducting a fascist styled propaganda campaign to normalize the acceptance of illegal immigration to this country that has resulted in no national security, has decimated the sovereignty of this county and is just destroying the United States of America!
During this episode I will also discuss how Hispanics have been allowed to take over entire cities in Southern California and have run all of the Black Americans out of these cities with terrorist tactics. I will give examples of how the U.S. judicial system has done nothing to stop this immigration anarchy or oppose the Bush Family Regime, even after the 9/11 attacks and most recently the Fort Hood massacres and the Boston bombings.
This is what the mainstream media does not want you to hear, see or believe!!

Sam Thurman, Cliff Stewart and Lisa Stewart of the Colorado exoneration firm A Just Cause, discuss what happens when the wheels of justice trample unbridled over the rights of innocent Americans.
Although the American system of justice is the most-respected worldwide, it is still a system designed, and operated, by humans, which means it's not perfect. Sam, Cliff, and Lisa will highlight ongoing struggles against "the system" to free wrongfully imprisoned people, and what happens when justice miscarries against an actually innocent person.
A Just Cause is currently campaigning for "FreeTheIRP6," who's been wrongly imprisoned in Florence, CO for a crime they didn't commit. Read full story: www.freetheirp6.org.

This evening’s show looks closely at society’s collapsing institutions and infra-structure, against a backdrop of eco-systemic collapse, extreme weather, massive pollution and Climate Change and how we humans navigate and are to emotionally deal with, adapt to this severe situation of life as we know it changing dramatically before our very eyes. Can we adapt cooperatively and evolve collectively? Can we use this profoundly challenging situation as an opportunity to grow?
To discuss this, Mitchell’s guest this evening is Carolyn Baker, Ph.D. who has written and worked with these issues with her students and clients for years. Carolyn was an adjunct professor of history and psychology for 11 years and a psychotherapist in private practice for 17 years.

This subject of dealing responsibly and creatively with the collapsing of eco-systems and society is central to our lives today. Tune in and get familiar with these thoughts and terrain.

“As Malcolm lay on the stage dying , his pregnant wife removed form the inner pocket of his suit coat the note with the names of the five men he believed who assassinated him. She stuck it in her purse, showing it to no one… Two weeks later, on February 25, a Kenyan government official who supported Malcolm X’s U.N. petition was assassinated. According to press reports, Pio Pinto was sitting in a car outside his home with his three year old daughter when three assassins walked up to him and shot him to death.” Judas Factor BY KARL EVANZZ
“I ran a regular public relations campaign for Malcolm in Folsom. I was to it that copies of his speeches were made circulated among Negro inmates. I never missed a chance to speak favorably about Malcolm, to quote him, to explain and justify what he was trying to do. soon I had the ear of the Muslims, and it was not long before Malcolm had another ardent defenders in Folsom. In a very short time Malcolm became the hero of the vast majority of Negro inmates. Elijah Muhammad was quickly becoming irrelevant, passe." Soul on Ice by Eldridge Cleaver.
“ In our time, Malcolm X is the supreme example. His live and accomplishments galvanized a generation of young Black people; he helped us take a great stride forward with a new sense of ourselves and our destiny. But meaningful as his life was, his death had great significance, too. A new militant spirit was born when Malcolm died. It was born of outrage and unified Black consciousness, out of the sense of a task left undone.
"In light of this, I was able to stand back a little and consider my own death. When Black people saw Black Panthers being killed not only by the police but also by the judicial system, they would feel the circle closing around them and take another step forward. In this sense, my death would not be meaningless." Huey P. Newton
It is in the wee hours of Thanksgiving morning and I am wide away. This show has been on my mind to do since I saw the awful video of the murder of Laquan McDonald. I paused at the beginning of the show because I think it has been said that all of this went down in 30 seconds meaning from the time the officer arrived on scene and fired 16 shots in LaQuan who was already down from the first few shots. But as usual you have those who see nothing wrong. On CNN I saw one of their regulars who come on during police shootings and he had the audacity to say that the killing of African-Americans involving police is not an epidemic. I sat here shaking my head as of last year there was Eric Garner, Tamir Rice and the awful not guilty verdict of Micheal Brown that was happening last year around this time. I can remember almost feeling guilty to sit at my Thanksgiving table being happy when I knew that The Brown family had an empty chair. The officials of the Chicago were forced to release that video and they were forced to arrest the officer involved. But their lenghthy investigation stinks to high heavens. I have tried time and time to again to give Rahm Emmanual the benefit of the doubt but the writing is on the wall. This cannot go on! This young man had a hard life and the system have not only failed him once but twice. I have been watching the coverage of the protests and I thank those on social media who have kept me up on everything happening. So as all of this plays out think about what you are thankful for?
Ceet the Author hails from South Philadelphia, where he began honing his craft as an artist as early as age nine. At age fourteen he wrote a short story for his high school English class titled, Summertime in my Neighborhood. Fifteen years later that story became the basis for Ceet's first official release, 2009's The Whore and The Virgin. The book became an instant hood classic and all of the positive feedback inspired Ceet to release his second effort, A Dog's Day, that very same year.
Ceet then began pursuing another passion of his, filmmaking and videography in 2010 by writing, producing and directing several independent film projects while releasing several more novels under the imprint of BRP Entertainment and with several projects down the line, Ceet shows no signs of slowing down...
Kvn Tajzea (Keh-vun Tah- Jhay) is more than your typical R&B singer, songwriter and actor. Kvn began his love affair with music and acting at a very young age. "I was a very sick child growing up and nearly died a few times. I wasn'treally allowed to play outside until the age of 7 because my immune system was so weak." He read, listened to, and watched a plethora of varying artistic expression. Even after becoming healthy enough to lead the normal life of a kid his passion for the arts continued to grow and manifested itself in a variety of ways ranging from poetry, drawing, songwriting and acting. Kvn is an accomplished vocalist with a four octave range whose smooth, syrupy and comforting voice conceals an old school rasp that lets you in on the pain and tribulation that fuels a tone of hope in every note he sings. "The First Return" is Kvn's debut project featuring the production of hit maker Ron Love of MonaRK Productions.
Join me, Why Yet, as I chat it up with both of these industrious artists.
