LAURA JOHNSTON KOHL
Laura Johnston Kohl grew up as an activist in Washington, D.C., and watched as many of her heroes were assassinated in the 1960s. While she was in high school and college, John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and others were killed. That had a huge impact on her. She attended college in Connecticut and continued her commitment to work for change and to make a difference. While exercising her civil rights to protest peacefully, she was tear-gassed while protesting the war in Viet Nam. After a brief marriage, a visit to Woodstock, and a stint working with the Black Panthers, she moved to California to join her sister.
Soon after that, she was introduced to Peoples Temple and spent the next nine years in California and Guyana. She was away from Jonestown on the day when 913 of her friends and family died. The next twenty years were spent recovering, and rebuilding her life
We will be blessed to have Jonestown Survivor Laura Johnston Kohl with us. She will be sharing her experience in the most dangerous cults in history. She is one of 87 survivors who escaped the Jim Jones Jonestown compound alive. Understanding is invaluable to help us understand modern day cults. Join in the conversation as we take a journey back in time to experience the horror of cult mind control.
How does one man, ostensibly insane, develop a following of over one-thousand and start a colony in middle of a dense jungle? Where did he get the money? What was he really like? How could he have built a fully staffed, state-of-the-art medical facility, grow food, generate electricity, etc. in the middle of one of the most hostile environments in the world -- if he was crazy? Is "was" the right tense to use, or is it possible he did not die in Guyana?
One thing is for sure, the official story just does not make sense. Bob will explore these and many more disturbing questions about the People's Temple and Jim Jones.
What is really happening in our world the use of sc ience in weapons coverups and news behind the news Today on the issue of the murders in Sandy Hook School gun control and what happened really within Jonestown and David Koresh first hand accounts from someone who knew and spoke to David Koresh prior to his death yes I spoke to him and someone who knew about the Jim Jones victims coming out of the Nation of Islam as a measure to experiement using blacks in mind control games maybe lauched by the government.
Austim is not a disease that products mad killers look at this video of a man yes someone adult with the disease he is not insane but he was issues and many of americans and people from foreign nations have issues but they are not committing murder.

On November 18, 1978 912 followers of American cult leader Jim Jones ("Peoples Temple") died in a remote South American jungle compound called "Jonestown" in British Guyana. Some members were shot, others were forced to drink poison, but most willingly participated in what Jones said was an act of "revolutionary suicide."
