Heroines Behind the Lines with Jocelyn Green

    in Women

Women have put their mark on history. We should inspire our daughters to carry on that legacy. Today Maxine and Jeannie talk with Jocelyn Green about the role of brave women in Civil War times.  Spy of Richmond is the final book in the Heroines Behind the Lines series. The story tells how Sophie Kent risked everything she had to help end the war. Inspired by first-person accounts of Union loyalists and Confederates living in Richmond during the Civil War, Spy of Richmond dramatically exhibits Green’s extensively researched inside look at women’s contributions. Don't miss hearing from this award winning author. www.jocelyngreen.com

Keep the Romance in Your Marriage

    in Current Events

Research shows that couples who spend time together are happiest. Those who sweat together, engage in church activities together, or volunteer have a higher chance of staying together long-term. But today, many couples are little more than roommates raising kids, paying bills, and occasionally coming together for sex or common activities.

Yet According to Grace Fox, the author of the little booklet One-Minute Romance for Couples, the average couple spends no more than one minute per day together in meaningful conversation. In her new booklet, Fox provides dozens of simple anecdotes, questions and quotes designed to help couples in engage in serious conversation. She will share a few of those with you as she chats with Jeannie and Maxine on The River today.

Timmon's Brothers Paul Revere and the Raiders: Musical Revolution – Part I

    in Music

Paul Revere and the Raiders: An American Musical Revolution – Part I (1961- 1967 ‘The Classic Years’ ”)

Labeled by Paul Shaffer of The David Letterman Show as “the greatest show band of all time,” Paul Revere and the Raiders became the vanguard of America’s response to the British Invasion with one of the most exciting live shows in the business. Their hits are now seen as bold, unpretentious pieces of '60s rock & roll with a defiant, punk edge, which would become the foundation for the development of punk rock. Although they experienced disappointment when they saw another version of “Louie, Louie” become a national hit, they bounced back to sell records in numbers second only to the Beatles and the Rolling Stones during their three biggest years (1966-1969) while garnering more TV appearances than any other rock ‘n’ roll band from 1965- 1968. Tonight, in Part I, we focus on the years when a band with a Northwest U.S.A. origin grew so highly in popularity that each member’s charm and fame would rival the Beatles with their own fan clubs and constant appearances in every teen magazine.

*Worship Our Heavenly Father | Jesus is Alive *

    in Prayer

    We exalt Thee Oh LORD.

    Jesus is Alive.

The Songwriter says "God is not dead, He is Alive"

Jesus when He was on Earth said "I and my Father

    are ONE" John 10:30

So in Essence the Songwriter is saying "God/Jesus is not

    Dead, He is Alive."

And we know this to be True, because the Gospel says...

He-Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected.

He was seen and spent time with His disciples prior to His

Ascension into the Heavenly's...where He is now sitting at

the "Right Hand of His Father" Mark 14:62 waiting for the "Appointed Time"

to come "Back" in "All His Glory" Revelation says "As King of Kings

    and LORD of Lords."

Beloved are you looking forward to that Wonderful Day? Are you

prepared Beloved to meet your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

If not Beloved, it's my Prayer that trough surrendering and giving

all to Jesus you will be Prepared for His coming.

What does All looks like for you Beloved?

Allow the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God to speak to your Heart,

Mind and Soul today as you choose to Worship the LORD in Spirit

    and in Truth.

True Worshippers are what the Lord is seeking...Jesus said in John

10: 4-5..."My sheep knows my voice and follows me...they do not follow a

stranger, because a strangers voice they do not know."

Beloved it is my Prayer that as you Worship the Lord in the beauty of

Holiness through Songs, Hymns, Dance, Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving

that you may know how much He Loves You and Wants to Have even a

Closer Relationship with you. God Bless you as you Worship the LORD

Beloved as Jesus is Alive and He's Coming Back Again.
