A closely targeted earthquake shook Paul's chains loose; along with all the other Philippian prisoners.
What's a good Roman jailer expected to do in cases like this: Asleep at midnight and every cell door suddenly opened, every shackle immediately hanging empty?
Ancient Roman culture--like modern-day Japanese--had a level of honor. Since the man in charge of a prisoner bore the prisoners fate if he escaped, this jailer thought to spare his family the shame of his failure. He was about to take his own life. That is, until Paul turned his life around!
"Were babies baptized 'at that hour of the night'?" And, "Why did Paul insist on formal release?" -- a couple of interesting questions, huh?

On this episode of Talking in Circles we break down the Tony Stewart situation and what it means for his retirement tour and we discuss who we think will take over the No. 14 Chevrolet for the begining of the season and why. We also talk about the impact it will have on NASCAR and the Daytona 500.
Also, Michael Waltrip will race for BK Racing in the No. 83 Toyota with Maxwell House as sponsor. We discuss that move and potentially a fourth BK Racing car at Daytona as well.
Also Premium Motorsports has hired Cole Whitt to drive the team's No. 98 entry for the entire 2016 season. Whitt will be on his fourth team in three years.
Kyle Larson just met his crew chief last week. We discuss whether or not that means anything for the 2016 season.
It was announced today that Matt Tifft will drive for JGR in 13 NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2016. We'll talk about how we think he'll do.
BJ McLeod Motorsports will run a two car operation for the 2016 season with the owner driving the No. 78 Ford Mustang. The team will have a variety of drivers in the No. 99 Ford Mustang, running full-time. We'll discuss that plus Harrison Rhodes moving to Obaika Racing and that organization having a two car team.
On the truck series side of things Cameron Hayley joins a four truck effort at ThorSport Racing for 2016 and Parker Kligerman will run Daytona for RBR Enterprises and Jordan Anderson will run full-time.
Plus we still have no idea if the franchising deal will be in place for Daytona or not.
It's going to be a jammed packed 1 hour show and we take your calls at 917-889-8280.
It's the first Friday of the month, and that means it's time for Spaced Out Radio's resident Extraterrestrial Expert, R Keith Andrews to join us once again for his monthly show with us, which happens the first Friday of every month.
Keith is a psychic/medium, who's been an ET experiencer since he was a child. In fact, Keith claims to have seen or been in contact with over 30 different "off-worlders" as he likes to call them. Keith will break down for you the experiences you are having if you're a contactee or an abductee, yourself.
So, this is how this show works. Keith will be live on the air, as well as live in our Spaced Out Radio chat room. He will be reading your questions and answering them directly to you. This is not a show for phonecalls. If you wish to ask Keith a question, you must be in the SOR Chatroom or Paranormal Into The Night. During Friday's show, Keith will be discussing the relationships ETs have with people here on earth, from the good and spiritual, to the bad and downright ugly.
Hold onto your tin foil hats as Keith makes this show quite a wild ride.
"Asa Philip Randolph was about ten when a group of solemn, angry men arrived at his Jacksonville, Florida, home one afternoon. They wanted to see his father, Reverend James William Randolph. The reverend gathered the men in the family's sparse living room, and they told him what had happened.
A black man had been locked up in the Duval County jail and angry white men were muttering about hanging him without a trial. Such hangings, known as lynchings, were terribly familiar to black people, particularly in the South. But the city of Jacksonville had a tradition of African American pride; the black men gathered in Randolph house were not willing to tolerate lynching. Guns packed, they were prepared to encircle the jail and greet the white mob with force. They wanted the reverend to join them.
The Randolph's kept two guns in the house, a Bulldog pistol and a shotgun. James Randolph handed his wife the shotgun, took the Bulldog for himself and headed for the Jail. Elizabeth Randolph, a dead shot, kept the gun cradled across her lap for the rest of the night. The Reverend returned home at dawn, exhausted but relieved. When the lynch mob was confronted with the jail's armed defenders they wisely backed down." A. PHILIP RANDOLPH and the AFRICAN AMERICAN LABOR MOVEMENT by Calvin Craig Miller.

After all of the hype and hoopla dies down in Cali, Jay and Dre are here to get into the meat and potatoes of the actual Big Game. Peyton Manning's HGH chicken parm, Cam Newton's racial politics and polarizing personality, Peyton's possible last game, Josh Norman and Carolina's edgy and possibly dirty defense--put all the storylines aside. It comes down to the AFC champion Broncos versus the favored NFC champion Panthers. Though Dre has already clinched the picks title, the boys will break down the 50th annual Super Bowl and cut through the BS In Much Less Detail to decide: Denver or Carolina...WHO YA GOT???
