Please join us as we wrap up our series on Prison Death Row Ministry with our guest, Bill Sadler. He is currently ministering to death row inmates as their “Officially Approved Spiritual Advisor”. As an ordained minister with a Doctorate of Divinity, not only does Bill have a BS in Psychology, an MA in Pastoral Studies with pastoral counseling, he also studied at St. Mary’s Catholic Seminary in Houston, immersed himself in a thorough cover to cover study of the Bible, and spent nearly 40 years in personal studies with the Urantia Book. He also worked for four years as an auditor of the work performed by newly released ex-convicts still residing in halfway houses.
Bill has taken on the project of doing outreach ministry at the Polunsky Unit Maximum Security Prison (known to inmates as the worst in the Texas penal system) with over 300 death row inmates at the maximum security Prison. He has been working for the past several months with various individuals on death row, who are now also Urantia Book students. This really is a good news story about previously hopeless inmates experiencing radical transformations of love and hope, as the true nature of our Universal Father’s love and mercy is revealed to them. This show features inspiring personal stories, along with the expanding mission of Minister Bill Sadler.

Last week we interviewed Wayland Matthew Fox, who was wrongfully convicted, spent 17 months in a Texas prison and did amazing prison ministry from the inside. This week we are thrilled to present a two week radio series with “Officially Approved Spiritual Advisor” Bill Sadler (yes, that is his name), who is currently ministering to death row inmates. Bill is an ordained minister with a Doctorate of Divinity. Not only does Bill have a BS in Psychology, an MA in Pastoral Studies with pastoral counseling, nearly 40 years personal experience with the Urantia Book and Movement, and a Doctorate of Divinity but he also cared for an aging mob member and worked for four years as an auditor of the work performed by newly released ex-convicts still residing in halfway houses. He is eminently qualified to minister to prisoners.
Bill has taken on a new project doing outreach ministry at the Polunsky Unit Maximum Security Prison (known to inmates as the worst of the Texas penal system) with death row inmates at the maximum security Prison. He has been working for the past several months with various individuals and a group of death row inmates, who are also now Urantia Book students. This really is a good news story about previously hopeless inmates experiencing radical transformations of love and hope, as the true nature of our Universal Father’s love and mercy is revealed to them via the Urantia Book, and Bill. Almost all of the prisoners have spent a lot of time through their lives and in prison studying spiritual texts of different religions finding little satisfaction there to reassure or comfort them, until they found The Urantia Book. Once they start studying the Urantia Book, everything begins to change. This show features inspiring personal stories, along with the expanding and inspiring mission of minister Rev. Bill Sadler.

Lulabee and her Co-Host #MarkSaidIt! talk with the families and friends who hold it down for federal prison inmates.. Lulabee has access to more than 100,000 federal inmates via the federal email system and reaches out to them daily in an effort to help them with administrative and technical issues.
This episode allows the callers to express their concerns about the federal prison system and what some of their personal experiences have been. A free style and open mike show.
Today's guest is clairvoyant and animal communicator Shirley Scott. In 2000 Shirley had a near-death out-of-body experience and when she recovered, she realized she had brought back the power of clairvoyance with her. Shirley does readings on both animals and people and Ishe crosses the veil to connect with loved ones that have crossed. She has found that this connection helps people who are grieving for a loved one and also lets the person or animal that has past tell us things they couldn't when we were together on this side. Shirley was instrumental in beginning the dog training program at Walla Walla Penitentiary in Washington State.

November 12 at 8pm central, 9pm eastern, join myself, Philip Smith, along with featured co-host Dana Olivas as we talk about the prison system. I will talk about my 10 years in the Texas Department of Corrections, my own thoughts of the system and fellow inmates and guards. Dana will give her insight from the other side of the walls. The feelings she has been going through as a loved one waiting. I encourage family members of those behind bars to call in and ask any questions and or comments. Hopefully I will be able to answer your questions. I encourage both sides of the prison system to use this forum to discuss ideas to make all our lifes better or at least a little easier. This may be a no holds barred discussion at times so please be aware. This is the link to my Blog which contents so many of my thoughts and stories of my time in Prison.

THEME: A Candid Discussion about Religion behind Prison Walls: How does it Work and why does it Matter
Bruce Smith - Retired Car Salesman, Founder of the Christian Car Buying Ministry and a 15-year Member of a Volunteer Outreach Team.
THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:
According to the Prison Fellowship Ministries, which describes itself as a family of Christian ministries dedicated to bringing peace to a broken world through works of grace, acts of justice, and words of truth…here are the numbers:
The United States has less than 5% of the world population, but almost 25% of the world’s prisoners;
Today, approximately 2.3 million inmates are behind bars;
95% of all prisoners are eventually release;
2 out of 3 will reoffend.
Prison Ministry is a larger concept, including the support of the spiritual and religious needs of prison guards and staff, whose work in an often demanding and brutal environment often creates a special need for pastoral care, similar to the care that is extended to the military, police officers and fire fighters. What is religion behind prison walls all about…how does it work…and why does it matter?

Today on "It's My House" we shall discuss the untapped power of "Returning Citizens"...........aka...........ex-cons, ex-convicts, former prisioners, etc, etc. etc. Returning Citizens represent a "demographic" that is very lucrative ecomonmically speaking and it can also be "politically" lucrative if as a community they would "organize" into a political block.
In the United States Of America there are over 12,000,000 Returning Citizens; that figure represents a population that is larger than some countries around the world.......however with a large population and billions of Dollars spent this demographic has restricted legal access. Today we shall find out why and what to do about it.
