Papists Offend God by Baptizing Infants

    in Religion

I related an experience with one Tony Koss, a Roman Catholic in the laboratory at Womack Army Hospital in 1973, who would not pray, and would not read Book of Mormon rebutting the Catholic doctrine of pergatory for un-baptized infants. Tony then heard an audible voice which converted him to the truth of my message.  I presented to him the following passage from the Book of Mormon which directly and positively shows that Roman Catholics are in danger of hell fire for perverting the right way of the Lord:

10 Behold I say unto you that this thing shall ye teach--repentance and baptism unto those who are accountable and capable of committing sin; yea, teach parents that they must repent and be baptized, and humble themselves as their little children, and they shall all be saved with their little children.
11 And their little children need no repentance, neither baptism. Behold, baptism is unto repentance to the fulfilling the commandments unto the remission of sins.
12 But little children are alive in Christ, even from the foundation of the world; if not so, God is a partial God, and also a changeable God, and a respecter to persons; for how many little children have died without baptism!
13 Wherefore, if little children could not be saved without baptism, these must have gone to an endless hell.
14 Behold I say unto you, that he that supposeth that little children need baptism is in the gall of bitterness and in the bonds of iniquity; for he hath neither faith, hope, nor charity; wherefore, should he be cut off while in the thought, he must go down to hell.
15 For awful is the wickedness to suppose that God saveth one child because of baptism, and the other must perish because he hath no baptism.
16 Wo be unto them that shall pervert the ways of the Lord after this manner...

Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson: Sleep

    in Health

Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now with Denise Thomson, founder of Miclknight, where health and wellness are one. I am an educator, speaker, author, fitness trainer and passionate about healthy living.

    Gift: at the end

    Topic: Sleep

What exactly is sleep? What is it's definition? (Wikipedia)

How much sleep do we need to feel good the next morning?

    Rule of thumb:

    Newborns (0-3months)  14-17 hours

    Infants (4-11 months)   12 - 15 hours

    Toddlers (1-2 years)     11 - 14 hours

    Preschoolers (3-5 years)  10 - 13 hours

    School-age children (6-13 years)   9 - 11 hours

    Teenagers (14-17 years)      8 - 10 hours

    Young Adults (18-25 years) & Adults (26-64 years)   7 - 9 hours

    Older Adults (65 and over)    7 - 8 hours.

Why is sleep so important in our lives?

~60% of waste products produced during sleep, body recovers, skin restores,

Lack of sleep: slows down healing process, motor skills are slower, tremors from lack of sleep or too much caffeine....

Why does good sleep improve our health?

Where do you sleep the best, your own bed or anywhere? Why? Mattress, pillow, blanket, different bed, unfamiliar room, ...

Who decides on whether or not we sleep well?

    For children it's the parents......

    For adults..... they decide.....

Good, deep, and solid sleeps makes you feel so good that you can say upon waking up in the morning:

"Today is the best day of my life again!!!"

Answer the above questions for yourself and see where you can improve.

Deepertruth: Eucharistic Miracle of Faverney, France***1608

    in Religion

In the city of Faverney there was a Benedictine Abbey whose monks had departed a great deal from the rule of their founder. They held only the highest esteem for the devotion to the Lady of Notre-Dame la Blanche, known in all the area for its many miracles. Through her intercession many miracles had in fact been verified, among which was even the returning to life of two infants who were not yet baptized.

In 1608, on the Vigil of the Feast of Pentecost, the monks decided to prepare an altar for the exposition and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. The lunette of the monstrance was very large, and because of this, they decided to put in two Hosts. When Vespers had finished the monks left the monstrance exposed on the provisional altar. On the next morning, the sacristan opened the church and found it full of smoke, with the provisional altar completely reduced to ashes. He started to yell, and immediately the religious and other people hastened and proceeded to remove the ashes with the hope of finding some part of the monstrance.

When the smoke began to clear, they were astonished on seeing that the monstrance was suspended in the air. The multitude increased and crowded to see the Eucharistic marvel, in which the Hosts had remained unharmed regardless of the fire. The religious were astonished and unable to make a decision.  They asked the counsel of the Capuchin friars of Vesoul. The friars immediately prepared a new altar over the burned one and celebrated Holy Mass. During the elevation of the Host, the monstrance slowly descended upon the new altar.
