God Dealt With Those Who "Stood By" While Their Brethren Suffered

    in Spirituality

This episode of Pneumatikos will explore the administration of divine justice to those who stood by and watched their brethern suffer.  Theirs was the crime of arrogant indifference to the suffering of others.  The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the earth beholding the good Heb.Tob) and the evil (Heb. Ra).  Yahweh still sits enthroned above the flood and one day he will personally revisit upon the casually indifferent ones the fruit of non-action as the blood of the guiltless cried out to them for help and comfort.

The View Up Here and @Subscatter discuss Missing The Point

    in Politics

How many problems do you see when you look at society around you? Does the society you are being sold exist in reality? Or is it a disconnected dream towards the so-called "Perfect World". Are the prizes in this dream even accessible or do they fall into the "some day" category. No matter what dreams you may strive to, the same system can also sell you a tailored list of why those dreams are under threat.

So much airtime, bandwidth, column space, billboards and snail mail devoted to telling you exactly what the problems are. Regardless of your personal beliefs or convictions. There is plenty to go around, by design. Compartmentalization is a modern art form, keeping polar opposites locked in battle over.... nothing. The names change in the current edition of the same old wedge issue, but the rhetoric never does. And it takes its course. And nothing changes.

For all the connectivity speed of light global reach that happens, why do the same problems never go away? And why are the bigger systemic institutional problems hardly ever mentioned? Maybe it's because you are surrounded by Distraction Central.

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

TODAY our show will be about the details of the Feb. 13, 1965 speech:

THE AMERICAN SLAVE CODE in THEORY AND PRACTICE: its distinctive features shown by its statues, judicial decisions, and illustrative facts.WILLIAM GOODELL

2.)   Free peopled of color may be and continually are brought into Slavery, in this country, in a variety of ways. Some of these ways have been already specified, incidentally, while treating of other topics. Some will be specified hereafter. And they will be clustered together and averted again, in a chapter on "The Liberties of the Free People of Color."  In the mean time, the topic demands attention here, in our inquiry concerning the subjects of slavery, and we shall cite some particulars which need not be repeated again. The general fact of the enslavement of the free colors people, of the facility with which it is done, and the indifference, not to say the connivance, of the Southern Courts, will appear from the following: Davis vs. Sanford, Spring Term 1815; 6 Littell's Ky. Rep., 206.

FREE SOCIAL WORSHIP AND RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION PROHIBITED:  The Government not only permits the Master to forbid the free Social Worship and religious Instruction of his Slave, at his pleasure, but it also steps in with direct prohibitions of its own, which even the Master himself may relax or abrogate.

"But despite the fact that I saw that Islam was a religion of brotherhood, I also had to face reality. And when I got back into this American society, I'm not in a society that practices brotherhood. I'm in a society that might preach it on Sunday, but they don't practice it on no day--on any day. And so, since I could see that America itself is a society where there is no brotherhood and that this society is controlled primarily by racists and segregationists--and it is--who are in Washington, D.C., in positions of power." Malcolm El Haji Shabazz

Low Sex Drive in Women - What You Need to Know if You're Over 40

    in Self Help

When one partner in a couple lacks much interest or desire for sex it can wreak havoc on the partnership. Often, women over 40 experience a significant loss of libido related to not only hormonal changes, but also circumstances surrounding their relationships. Husbands tend to feel rejected, frutrated, and controlled by their wives' sexual indifference. Wives experience a great deal of pressure, resulting in much stress on the marriage, disconnection, and sometimes divorce.

In this 45 minute episode Susan Lager co-hosts with Dr. Terri Vanderlinde, a Board Certified OB-GYN for more than 25 years, and the owner of a solo integrative GYN and sex counseling practice, My Friend's Gynecologist, in Dover, NH.  Dr. Vanderlinde is passionate about empowering women and their partners to have healthy, satisfying sex at any age.

This episode will teach you about the myths and realities surrounding an issue which plagues so many couples. You will find out what you need to know about the causes of low libido around menopause, as well as what you and your partner can do to move toward meaningful change.

Children of Joshua- New American Revolution

    in Current Events

According to Bibical citation, Joshua was a major figure in the events of the Exodus and was charged by Moses with selecting and commanding a militia group for their first battle after exiting Egypt. Joshua was one of twelve Israeli men sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan (Numbers 13:1-16), then after the death of Moses, he led the Israelite tribes in the conquest of Canaan and allocated the land to the tribes. God appointed Joshua to succeed Moses as leader of the Israelites along with giving him a blessing of invincibility during his lifetime (Joshua 1:5).

Young people born in the 1990’s and beyond have been dubbed: “The X generation”, The Millenniums”, The Lost Generation” by the media. But, in Black American communities, young people, aged 16 to 30, who are attentive to current event, seeing marked aggression toward Black males coupled with judicial indifference, are calling themselves the “Joshua Generation”. When I first heard this, I did not understand this reference. Out of curiosity, I started to talk to scholarly people, listen to wise men and women in lecture settings and talked directly to young adults aged 16 to 30. I had my eyes opened to “thinking” that I had not come upon on my own.

Young people are satiated with false promises and overt lies about justice, “leveled playing fields” and false promises about "getting an education” and finding a good job. There is a “disbelief” in American public education citing how staying in school no longer means getting a high school diploma. And going to college means being enslaved by long-term debt without prospects of a career or vocation. Distrust, unrest and “brain-washing” of their late ancestors, have given rise to Black American youth who are ready to exact change. “Respect is earned”, they told me, and “power is taken”.

Rap Sessions Radio - Open Lines

    in Self Help

One of my favorite Bob Marley songs is So Much Trouble In The World, the song talks about all the differnt ills of the human race, poverty, government indifference and the destruction of the planet.  But the song also talks about how simple the solution could be, every body just give a little. A little time, a little kindness, a little understanding on everyone's part is all it would take.  The question is, what would it take to get us to the point where we would all give a little?  We will address this question and whatever else is on our colllective minds that time will allow, join us today, Sunday, April 12th from 2p-4p CST, that's 3p-5p on the East Coast and Noon-2p on the West Coast.  Log on at www.blogtalkradio.com/rapsessions or call 347.857.2097, remember Family, if you miss us you miss out!

Military Monday with John D. Gresham With Author RADM Dave Oliver, USN (Ret.)

    in Lifestyle

Of all the human qualities that are desired by people here in America and around the world right now, there can be little doubt or question that leadership is at the top of that list. Diluted by decades of indifference and mediocrity since the days of the "Greatest Generation" that fought in World War II, leadership as become a quality as rare as 100-carat diamonds and honest politicians. Nevertheless, those of us with long memories do recall touchstone individuals who not only made a difference in their time, but changed the very world they were part of forever. One of these was a somewhat gnomish and often disliked naval officer who created a whole new technology and era literally through the force of his own will: Adm. Hyman G. Rickover, USN.

Today, Rickover remains something of an enigma to military historians and analysts almost 3 decades after his death. Arguably one of the most brilliant and powerful naval officers of his day, he never commanded great ships and fleets in battle. Able to make other officers and politicians sweat and fear for their professional lives, his actual job for most of his career was to build engines for submarines and surface ships. And while his nuclear engines changed the history of the world, at no time did he ever command a ship powered by one. To learn more about this important figure in U.S. history, join author, historian, journalist, game designer, and documentary filmmaker John D. Gresham (@Greshamj01) for Military Monday (#MilitaryMonday on the Writestream Radio Network (@Writestream)) at 1 PM EDT. His guest this week will be U.S. Naval Institute Press (@USNI_Books) author and career submariner RADM Dave Oliver, USN (Ret.). Oliver is the author of the new book AGAINST THE TIDE, a biographical study of Rickover and his unique leadership and management styles.

Deepertruth: Lighthouse Presents Jesse Romero-The Eucharist

    in Religion

Jesse Romero is a well known Catholic Apologest I had the chance to meet at a Conference in Tyler Texas.  He is a dynamic speaker.

Pope John Paul II, in his letter, On the mystery and worship of the Holy Eucharist – April 1980: “The Church and the world have a great need of Eucharistic Adoration. Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet him in Adoration, and in contemplation that is full of faith and ready to make reparation for the great faults and crimes of the world. May our Adoration never cease”.

The Angel held a consecrated Host and the chalice, leaving this suspended in the air, the Angel bowed down low before the Eucharist praying these words, “O most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly, I offer you the most precious body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which he is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the conversion of poor sinners”.

How wonderful it is when young people decide to spend time with our Lord and give their lives for Christ at an early age!

How wonderful it is when a young woman decides to give life to the child resting in the shadow of her wings!

How wonderful it is when a struggling marriage that was falling apart is renewed by a surge of love of God!

How wonderful it is when the elderly dedicate time to pray for those lost!

How wonderful it is when a Prodigal child returns and discovers Jesus in the Eucharist!
