My guest on the program is the internationally famous IceMan who has ground breaking suggestions for anyone with Parkinson';s symptoms. Wim Hof is known internationally for constantly breaking his records in the cold. He has appeared on, German, American and Chinese television stations breaking his own record by sitting in a cylinder filled with Ice cubes up to his neck. Wim has shown what the human body is capable of once you find the flow within your physical and mental state.
Although The Iceman still finds his challenge in improving his current performances, he especially sees his new challenge in passing on his method to others to give everyone the opportunity to reach out and do more than what they thought they were capable of. By the right training and exercises you can make your inner nature stronger, prevent disease and help reverse existing symptoms.
Not only can you learn to control your autonomic nervous system, Wim´s method can provide you with the following benefits:
Influence on the immune system
influence on your mind
improvement of blood circulation
improvement of concentration
How do you celebrate spring? Do you "spring clean" your house and your mind? Does getting rid of clutter help you feel better and clear up your thinking? Spring is a time to renew? How do you renew yourself? Does gardening and planting help lift your spirit? Seeing new growth in your yard and out on your walks and drives lifts me up and gives me new hope for my life and for the lives of others. What does it do for you.
Justice Clarke Live @ 4th & Baker: On The Sound Board - Interview with Joe DaVerbal Minddancer and Brett Riplak
Short bio about Joe DaVerbal Minddancer:
I am Joe DaVerbal Minddancer. I've always had a way with words just never thought about writing them down. The arts were and still are my passion. So why now, why do I write poetry. I was a bit shy in my youth and very quiet, not one to express my thoughts. Being able to "Rap" (as we called it) was key. My natural shyness had me at a disadvantage. I would sit for hours browsing the world book encyclopedia searching for nothing, seieing everything. The birth of eclectic thinking. My speech was filled with one liners blessed with a quick wit and an eye for detail I used my verbal prowess to conquer love. Yet writing, never took the forefront. I found my way onlne in 2005, years after many before me and 5 years after that I wrote my first poem online.
Short bio about Brett Riplak:
Riplak is an emcee based out of Iowa. The meaning of the name is Rest In Peace Lynn Ann Kremer, in memory of his mother who passed away when he was 12. Lynn's life was taken by her best friend's 22, in cold blood. Riplak was very close to her. After she passed his friends left as well. Family was there but he still felt alone at this time. He began writing to deal with what was trapped in his head. The violent thoughts would come out on paper in attempts to stop himself from acting them out. He began singing/screaming in hardcore bands in high school. The bands never seemed to stay together.
The years went by and Riplak began meeting many people all over the U.S. Travelling to do shows almost every weekend. Making an impact on people with his personal rhymes. Music is the number one love of his life and it shows.
Most of us don't get how important a healthy vagina is to health, fertility and particularly a healthy pregnancy. An unbalanced vaginal microbiome can lead to pre-term labor, the number one cause of infant mortality. Studies show that preterm labor and inflammation during pregnancy can lead to wheezing in infants, higher rates of asthma and there's even an association with autism. So it's important to consider the health of your vagina prior to pregnancy. A healthy microbiome, whether in your vagina, your gut, your skin or anywhere on your body is critical to overall health and vitality.
Midwife Augustine Colebrook, CPM, LM of Wise Women Care in Medford, Oregon is on the show sharing tips for how you can keep your vagina as healthy and balanced as possible.
On this show you will learn:
* Why the health of your vagina matters, before and during pregnancy and birth
* What a vaginal microbiome is and how it impacts your fertility, pregnancy and health
* Common vaginal complaints and how to treat them naturally and why antibiotics may not be the best course of treatment
* Tips and tricks for keeping your vaginal microbiome happy, healthy and balanced
* How to improve the microbiome of your infant if born by C-section

Innocence implies a natural, harmless, open, and pure intention which is not sullied by ulterior motives. Tune in this week as Lisa Jones and I discuss how innocence is less about age and more about attitude. We know from our earlier experiences that innocence springs from our heart and remains open to joy and wonder. If guided by the conviction of the heart, it brings about wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, if we are naïve and unable to discern what is best for the self, innocence can bring harm. Spiritually, we know that innocence is a willingness to treat all creatures with compassion and respect. This is only possible with a pure heart, astute instincts, and intuition. Tonight’s show is about thinking too much and how it severs our link to the guidance of the heart. Like many layers of this work, it takes practice to give the Universe the benefit of the doubt.

Rod Goelz loved being a cop. But injuries from an airplane crash ended his law-enforcement career, so he moved into the corporate world--where he survived downsizings, reorganizations, and a brain tumor. When people asked him how he did so well in the face of these challenges, he didn't have a good answer. Then he started to learn more about change and resilience, and found a vocabulary to describe his experiences. This led him into consulting, which allowed him to share what he had learned about change, adversity, and resilience. He'll talk about his journey and his passion for helping people break out of "victim thinking." And he might share a story or two about his 44-year romance with his soul mate.
Join us on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. for a very special interview with the retiring Chief of the Tampa Police Department. Jane Castor’s decisive leadership is evident in all aspects of her 31 year career. She was elected the first
female president of a police academy class and 26 years later, she became the first woman to lead the
Tampa Police Department. Chief Castor has redefined community policing in her hometown and driven
down the crime rate with her innovative approach to fighting crime.
Over the course of her career, Chief Jane Castor built a reputation for working side by side with
residents, community leaders, business owners and neighboring law enforcement agencies to reduce
crime and improve the quality of life in Tampa. Those community partnerships are the foundation of
TPD’s dynamic crime reduction strategy, “Focus on Four.” Since its induction in 2003, the plan has
reduced violent and property crime by 70%.
Jane’s strong leadership style is balanced with her efforts to help Tampa’s most disadvantaged children. She recently opened the doors of a multi-million dollar gymnasium for the Police Athletic League. The new facility is now serving more than 300 at-risk children. The department also opened a brand new safe haven for children called the RICH House. It’s the second of its kind offering a safe environment for children to thrive and for parents to connect with social services. Chief Castor’s commitment to at-risk kids is exemplified in her new Young Adult Police Academy. It targets kids on the verge of becoming involved in crime.
Join us as we say farewell to Chief Jane Castor and commend her for serving the City of Tampa and it's diverse communities with distinction.
