International Sunday School Lesson Isaiah 59:15-21/wk 08-02-15 by Grover Weaver

    in Christianity

In this week lesson, Isaiah deals with the tragic nature of sin and the need for a Redeemer. Sin ties the hand of an Almighty God, it is quite distressing He turns and hides his face from the sinner. Isaiah 59 message is God’s search for a methodology to redeem him; only until a body was fashion for the Son did he have a worthy Redeemer.

V15, closes out the narrative by saying ‘’...(man’s) truth faileth; without God there is no hope of salvation. Where there is no justice there’s no peace from God. He is displeased.

V16, the bible tells us for forty-two generations, transformation was not the way to save man soul. No matter how good he was his sin nature remains.

V17, the Son ashion in the form of a man He put on the breastplate of righteousness and the helmet of salvation upon his head; drape Himself in the garment of ...

V18...Satan and ‘’his Imps’’ will pay in spades.

V19 And,’’...so shall they in the West fear the name of the Lord and his glory from the rising sun...

V20 & 21, make a promise that the Redeemer will come to the House of Jacob, Class, the text is talking about the twelve sons of Jacob ‘’who turn from their transgression’’. The Lord will not forget his first born. Redemption will come to Zion henceforth and forever.

Chit Chat With B.Fly Welcomes Radio Personality and Author Michael McFadden

    in Radio

"Michael A. McFadden, brings an impressive and extensive track-record of Director-level corporate experience to all he’s involved in. He intimately understands, employs, and relies on the sheer "determination-factor" associated with achieving major success.

MEET MICHAEL MCFADDEN----> Life was not easy in our nation's capitol and becoming a statistic was the best way of life for me in Southeast DC. The fast life and easy money was my ticket...school was not an option for me during my 11th grade year, so I called it quits (1 of the worst and best decisions of my life).

The summer trip to Atlanta, GA in 1987 changed my life! That's when I realized how important LIFE really was and that it was OK to be a teenager. Being in Atlanta offered that change for me... I re-enrolled in school, graduated in 1989 (little late but I made it) and immediately joined the U.S Army.

I've worked for serveral Fortune 500 companies and excelled to upper management positions in record time and I owe that to EVERYTHING I learned in the streets of DC... "HUSTLE".

900 Voices, beautiful song/video promises to make you smile, and maybe even cry

    in Spirituality

Grammy® winning composer, Laura Sullivan, called out to the world to join her in a powerful plan to make a music video. Her request was simple. Take a video of yourself singing her song We Are Love and send it to her. The response was overwhelming.

900 Voices, promises to make you smile, and maybe even cry. 938 people, 27 languages, 1 song.

People from Australia, Brazil, Israel, Croatia, Korea, Kenya, India, and many other countries, participated by making videos on their cell phones and sending them to Laura and will make you so happy. Elena from Bulgaria, still in her hospital gown, sings and sweetly kisses her newborn son. A group of children in Uganda, who were once homeless, sing and dance like they are the richest kids in the world. A fire department of tough guys from New Jersey gives it their all.

The result: EPIC. 27 languages included in one song and video about love and unity. The video was released on April 9, 2014. It received over 50,000 views, and was accepted on the Ellen DeGeneres online Tube channel the first week of its release.

“I was hoping to get a lot of participation, but what I received back was beyond my wildest dreams. People from all over the world and from every walk of life sent in incredible videos.  Watching them moved me to tears. I hope I have honored these hundreds of wonderful people by including them in the video.” says Laura.

The resulting video, with the blending of the many voices, faces, and languages, creates a powerfully moving experience that shines a light on the unifying power of love in our world.

50% of the music proceeds of 900 Voices are going towards the national nonprofit Little Kids Rock. This organization partners with economically disadvantaged school districts to run music programs. To date they have served more than 325,000 children in 13 states.

InformationWeek IT Life Radio: Where Virtual Reality Falls Short

    in Technology

Oculus Rift and other virtual reality helmets are seen by many as potential game changers in gaming, retail, entertainment and other industries. But VR has significant weaknesses. You're stuck inside the helmet. It locks your experience and makes it difficult to share with co-workers or friends.

John Underkoffler thinks there is a better way. He's been called "the real-life Tony Stark." Underkoffler the computer scientist and award-winning user-interface designer behind the films "Minority Report" and "Iron Man," believes the future isn't locked in these headsets, it's in shareable experiences and workspaces. Collaboration is not about creating virtual walls, but working with one another on actual walls. People need space for their ideas to spread as they flow in real time. VR users need a whole new UI to really interact properly.

We'll talk to Underkoffler about the future of collaboration and shared visuals in the workspace. We'll see what might be beyond virtual reality.

John Underkoffler is CEO of Oblong Industries, developer of the g-speak Spatial Operating Environment and the Mezzanine conferencing and collaboration system in use at firms from Boeing to Beats Music. Oblong's technological trajectories build on fifteen years of foundational work at the MIT Media Laboratory, where John was responsible for innovations in real-time computer graphics, large-scale visualization techniques, and the I/O Bulb and Luminous Room systems. He has been science advisor to films including Minority Report, The Hulk (A.Lee), Aeon Flux, Stranger Than Fiction, and Iron Man. John also serves as adjunct professor in the USC School of Cinematic Arts; on the boards of the 5D Conference, the University Art Museum board at CSULB, Sequoyah School, and the E14 Fund; and on MIT's Visiting Committee. He is the 2015 Cooper Hewitt National Design Award winner for Interaction Design.

This show's objective is perpetuate peace among all people, as the foundation of all universes is based on "Mitakuye Oyas'in". The Lakota Star Knowledge definition of "Mitakuye Oyas'in" is that before you can be at peace with all the relatives throughout all universes, you must first have peace among all the relatives within your own inner universe. The mind, body, soul and emotions are all connected to each other. When you do your best in nurturing these four parts, you will establish peace within yourself. Only then are you able to be at peace with all creation around you.
