in Self Help
In this episode we take peer support and peer culture beyond mental health peer centers and 12 step recovery groups. We explore the benefits of moving beyond the surface interactions of everday society. We wonder how we can create cultures of shared power and mutual responsibility - where we have each others backs and meet each other as human beings.
Questions to consider:
What is it that makes us peers as human beings?
What do you value most about peer support and peer culture?
How would you like to see that carried into human relationships and society at large...?
in Self Help

Tune in on Friday May 23, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. to hear more on what is happening, as far as the human rights agenda, by the Canadian government. I will be discussing about victims of torture, that is being carried out by the police and by the Canadian intelligence agencies, such as CSIS.
The secret torture, that is also carried out by the police, against some activists, such as myself. Illegal and also unnecessary surveillance, by the police, to intimidate and to harass the victims.Which also pales compare to the physical and psychological torture it also carries out. And also the police use of agent provocateurs, to entrap and endanger the lives of their targets. The financial backlash to being blacklisted by the government as we. All of which are also against human rights standards.
Tune in to listen, because this show is an alternative to the regular media and you will also get information here, at a cost to me also, by way of being persecuted by the governement for exposing what it is doing.
Read also the latest information about human rights about in Canada, on my blog as well. URL: "Canada Human Rights Abuse is Exposed. The Truth is Revealed".
WHY IT IS FUNDAMENTAL TO HUMAN RIGHTS, FOR THE CANADIAN COURT PROCEEDINGS, TO BE TELEVISED, BECAUSE OF THE CORRUPTION OF THE JUDGES, PROSECUTORS AND THE REST OF THE COURT.
WHAT THEY SAY AND DO, WHEN NO ONE IS WATCHING.
The Canadian courts, are rife with corrupt judges. The focus of today's show, is to expose one of those courts, the Old City Hall court, located in Toronto, Ontario. Listen to this broadcast and you will also get an insight, into how both judges and prosecutors, worked together to abuse the rights of certain persons.
Discussion on all topics of human rights, though the focus will be on those kinds of human rights abuse, that are taking place in Canada at the present time. This will include the human rights abuse, in regards to its judicial system and the impact that has on the different minority groups, in Canada. The abuse by the police and the systematic targeting and profiling of blacks, by the police. Corruption by politicians and in government. There will also be a detailed discussion, in several episodes, of the plight of women and children in the Canadian family court and focusing on the abuse generated, by the Children's Aid Society (CAS).

About the Tour.
SISFI is hosting our Suicide Awareness and Prevention NY Tour on Sept. 17th - Oct 3rd across NYC, Long Island and Westchester to bring more awareness, services, programs and resources to address the increasing numbers of people facing serious life and emotional challenges, and human suffering with suicide ideations/thoughts, and supporting families who lost loved ones to suicide.
The theme of the tour is “Look into my heart and mind, tell me what you see”. It highlights the realities of not knowing what’s in a person’s mind or on their heart by what we see on the outside, and that we must engage in dialog and allow an open and comfortable atmosphere for people to open up and express themselves. The workshops and radio shows of the tour are scheduled at different times every day across the 3 cities.
We have aligned 15 community workshops, 3 luncheons and 15 radio shows to bring people, mental health professionals, energy therapists, health professionals, survivors and healers together to address this very serious and important topic affecting many people in our communities. While the community workshops are local in the 3 cities, the radio shows will have guests from across the country who lost loved ones, and practitioners who specializes in the support, treatment, recovery and healing of mental health, life coaching, emotional wellness and human suffering.
