HOT TOPIC: Domestic Violence in Sports and as a Global Issue

    in Sports

LIVE! Wednesday, September 24, 9:00 PM EDT

Domestic Violence Survivors Kimberly Tamsett and Kristen Paruginog will share their own personal experience. They will also weigh in on the ongoing NFL saga and address the global issue of Domestic Violence.

Kimberly Tamsett is a high school English teacher in North Carolina, she’s a former U.S. Army service member, and a domestic violence victim, but prefers the word survivor. Ms. Tamsett is very passionate about the subject of domestic violence. She believes in prevention, accountability, and healing for all involved.

Kristen Paruginog broke her silence against domestic violence when she created a Facebook page entitled, "Break the Silence against Domestic Violence" on December 3, 2011. Upon breaking her silence to the world, Kristen realized millions of men and women have suffered like she had. She didn't realize domestic violence was such a growing epidemic in not just California but in towns worldwide. http://www.breakthesilencedv.org/about-us.html
