It's not about Right and Left. It's about Right and Wrong!
As we approach the Convention of States, there are some who are concerned about a group called ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) to the venture. Most of those concerned have no real idea what ALEC is, what they stand for, or how they operate. Carl Bearden tackles this (and other) issues tonight. Carl is the founder and Executive Director at United for Missouri and United for Missouri's Future. He's a past Missouri Legislator, serving as Speaker Pro Tem and as Chairman of the House Budget Committee. Carl is a member of ALEC and joins us to share ALEC's mission and answer your questions.

Like players holding a hand of cards in a championship poker game in Las Vegas, the GOP led House folded instead of betting it all for a possible big win. Tuesday, the House pushed through a paired down Spending Bill that will allow $1.1 Trillion to be spent to keep government operations running through September 2015.
The only exception to the spending extention, Department of Homeland Security. This sets the stage for the "Battle Against Amnesty Showdown" when the newbies arrive in Washington DC.
Talking about torture, did you see what happened to the CIA in the "Torture Hearings"?
South Carolina State Representative Kris Crawford surprises everyone by resigning his seat at the table. After winning the November 4th election (without an opponent) Crawford leaves the State Capitol leaving everyone with questions. Expect a herd of GOP folks to enter the Special Election to replace Crawford.
Jump "In the Pickle Barrel" at 8AM-10AM EST as we discuss these issues and others.
You take charge of the conversation by bringing your concerns and issues to the table. Policy, issues, complaints, President Obama, the Senate, the House of Representatives, State issues, solution to issues, your favorite trip, what do you want Santa Claus to bring you...
Actually, on Anything Goes Friday...anything goes!
As I have said a thousand gillion times (that's a lot), everyone has an opinion on everything. One way to get that people to listen your cause/pinion is to jump "In the Pickle Barrel".
Just in case you can't think about a topic...I'll always have at least one or two (hundred) things we can discuss.
To share your questions/comments/solutions join the conversations in the Chat Room or call to share live at 855-236-2486.

Jim Williams sounds off BIG TIME on the Philadelphia Eagles right at the start of Wednesday’s Inside the War Nest program . . . before bringing in their special guest from TheGiantsBeat.com, David Aitken to chat about a meaningless final game against the New York Giants.
There are so many confusing and perhaps ridiculous playoff scenarios floating as we enter the final regular season week of the NFL . . . and we start it off with Frat House Mike and Brandon seemingly keeping it straight on Tuesday’s Red Zone Blitz program chatting about the final Wild Card in the AFC and the ridiculous NFC South!
Finally, we couldn’t close the regular season without another “4 Minutes of Football” starring Rex Ryan, the Thugs-of-the-NFL, and Kurt Warner. And, don’t forget our Picks-of-the-Week with an extra gift in the mix: Cleveland Browns – Baltimore Ravens / Carolina Panthers – Atlanta Falcons / Detroit Lions – Green Bay Packers / St. Louis Rams – Seattle Seahawks / Cincinnati Bengals – Pittsburgh Steelers.
Be sure to be there from the top of the show for FHS's famous Frat House Mike's Saturday Commentary!

No “holiday” here as The Frat House Gang are bringing you a full post-Christmas program in their 172nd version of The Frat House Sports Show . . . right before the final weekend on the NFL regular season!
And, since we’re talking football . . . let’s take a look at the “State of the NFL QB.” There seems to be a lot of bad ones. Is this a lack of coaching? Schemes too complicated? Or, are young quarterbacks just rushed into the game too soon? What happens next year to Jay Cutler, Brian Hoyer, Colt McCoy, Ryan Mallett, Michael Vick . . . Johnny Football?
Topics then change to the left coast and Roger Goodell’s announcement that there will be no football in L.A next season, and what of Tony Sparano? Should he be the Raiders permanent head coach?
We've got "4 Minutes of Football" . . . AND, the final picks of the season in some of the most important games: Cleveland Browns – Baltimore Ravens / Carolina Panthers – Atlanta Falcons / Detroit Lions – Green Bay Packers / St. Louis Rams – Seattle Seahawks / Cincinnati Bengals – Pittsburgh Steelers.
With all of this and much more coming live, you know you want to listen up and chime in. Jump right in with the guys at 347 - 826 - 9964!
Happiest of holidays everyone! In the 4 years since Healing House Radio aired its first episode, this is the first to fall on Christmas itself. However the season is celebrated, this time brings together family and friends and express our appreciation for one another. Today, we'll be exploring lessons from an old and well-loved christmas story, and how we can apply those lessons to enhance our physical, mental and spiritual wellness throughout the year.
In honoring the holiday, we will not be opening the charoom after the show. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me at email@example.com or via my website www.the-healing-house.com
