Create your BLOSSOMING future with Hope After Divorce

    in Family

Hope After Divorce knows what it feels like to have your world dissolve before your eyes. They've been there.
Grief, anger, and pain painted a bleak picture of the future, and we were stuck in the colorless landscape. We needed advice. How do we tell the kids? How do we structure a separation agreement? How do we find a good lawyer? How do we deal with abuse? How do we divide our property fairly? These questions were just the beginning.
During those dark times, we wished that we had resources to help us cope and a community of people to share our struggles with. So we created www.divorcesupportcenter.com with those goals in mind, so please visit us and be encouraged!

    What is love?

    in Christianity

Historically, this is the time of year that many feel the valleys of gloom and even depression. Physicians and scientists attribute the lull to the season. Although it can be “the most wonderful time of the year” for some, it is a fact that a “cloud of darkness” appears for others. People undergo old and fresh losses, including death, separation, and divorce, rejections, bullying, and the lack of sun in many areas in the country contributes to this “cloud of darkness.”

Forty years ago, almost to the week, Zenobia remembers the hollow stare of a woman who sat on the seat across from hers in a District of Columbia Metrorail car. The passenger’s question was, “What is love?” Her situation was someone she trusted and even loved had recently told her their relationship was over.

There are three commonly known biblical terms for love, Agape, Eros, and Phileo, all of which are Greek words. While our plan is to examine the meanings of all three in the weeks ahead, in this segment we will discuss Agape love. We will do so not only in the context of the Metrorail car passenger, but also in the context of some of our most recent events in national and international news.

Join us for the next Hope for Today podcast to learn how Agape love embraces each of these situations and so much more.

Dr. James Goll debuts Finding Hope: Rediscovering Life After Tragegy

    in Lifestyle

Noted author, Dr. James W. Goll, reveals in his most transparent book yet, his incredible journey through three bouts with cancer, the death of his beloved spouse, becoming a single parent, overwhelming debt, intense sorrow, being left with many profound questions—all while being exposed to public scrutiny as he carried on a global ministry.

“Here I was, the guy who used to write books that would explain three hundred Scripture verses, and I could not figure out what to do in the short term, let alone the long term. I had lost so much−so many relationships and ministry connections, so much income, even so much sleep−I could hardly keep track of what day of the week it was. It did not take me long to recognize the fact that, before all of this happened, I used to take too much for granted, such as my health and basic contentment. But that realization was not very useful in the present moment when it came to getting through one day after another, and especially through the nights. (The nights were the worst.)

In Finding Hope: Rediscovering Life After Tragedy readers will learn practical steps for how to:

    ·         Continue to walk with God through pain and devastation

    ·         Allow God to transform tragedy into triumph as he mends your broken heart

    ·         Put on the whole armor of God and let His Word be your road map

    ·         Maintain your faith that God is good no matter what come

    ·         Tell your heart to sing again·         Never, never, never give up

Words Of Wisdom/ Minister Mennie, Are You Living Like A Kingdom Citizen Part II

    in Christianity

This radio program is designed to present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with simplicity to win the lost. In addition, we endeavor to bring Hope and Encouragement to the Body of Christ.

The program is hosted by Minister Mennie Morrison and is sponsored by the ministry of Blessed To Be A Blessing Outreach Ministries, Inc. Evangelist Joseph Morrison is the President and CEO of BTBAB.  We  will have special guests joining us from time to time in helping us proclaim the Good News of the Gospel.  This month Minister Mennie will continue her teaching series entitled "Are You Living Like A Kingdom Citizen?" and this episode will be Part II.

We are grateful for this wonderful opportunity to have this avenue to share the Word of God and we don't take it lightly or for granted. Our sincere prayer is that all those that will tune in to the program will be enriched in their walk with the Lord and that many will even come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. We give God all the Glory and Honor for what He is doing in our lives and what He will continue to do as we trust Him
