MONEY, MONEY, MONEY...IS IT THE ROOT TO EVIL.
DEFINITION OF MONEY...something as coins or paper currency used in buying.
MONEY is older than written HISTORY. MONEY was first used in a social setting. First as a method of punishment. Dowries were probably also an early use.
Early stone age man began the use of precious metals as MONEY. Until the invention of coins, metals were weighed to determine their value.
The concept of MONEY is often confused with coinage. Coins first appearance was among the Lydians in Asia Minor in the 7th century BC. Whether these coins were used as money in the modern sense has also been guestioned.
MONEY...BRIDE OR BLOOD MONEY...etc.

Living in the south, with all its charms, traditions and iconography does not offer access into certain aspects of her history, especially when that history involves discussions around the Civil War and the Confederacy. The inability to rake through the smoldering ashes of a war fought 150 years ago, allows for a one-sided narrative that sometimes misrepresents the causes for war, the people - enslaved and free - who lived through the war and and its aftermath. Although it is a necessary, and some might add, long overdue undertaking, it is also anxiety ridden, especially within the black community.
How can parents of color approach this subject and explain to their children a war fought over, among other things, a system of that relegated their ancestors to permanent servitude?
Today, the Mommy Chronicles is on site as the Alabama State University Department of History and Political Science explores those issues by examining the Civil War history at its first Confederate Memorial Day "Mini" Conference.

As a valued member of my community, I hope you know how much I desire for you to live your life free from limitations. For the most part, I speak to women day in and day out that feel like they have to make an excuse in order to live. They can’t invest in themselves because of time, money or someone or something else.
All these excuses keep them struggling to put themselves center stage of their own life and it leaves them feeling tired, frustrated and unfulfilled apologetic and wishing things would change.
These are brilliant women mind you, beautiful and smart too. And then I speak to women like my guest today AnYes, who also put her life on until it got too painful to not shine her light and help others. Her mission is to inspire and empower women all over the world to step into their brilliance and create the fulfilling life they desire while being a role model for others.
