Coming the Christ Consciousness ~ Jesus at the cross

    in The Bible

The Author is deliberately unprepared on the talk to enable the word of the Lord to flow!  A must listen to a word in due season when one is weary, amen

In this moment of time, the Author wishes to examine the actually time that the people cried out

‘Crucify him, crucify him [Luke 23:21 KJV]’.

The cries of the people lead to Jesus being crucified and hanged on a cross.  Apparently today this is seen as a sacrificial offer where Jesus died to pay the price for our sins.  The Author wishes to look further into the cries of the people when prior to this Herod was happy to chastise Jesus as he found no wrong in Jesus.  Yet the voice cries out, then how does Jesus actually pays the price for our sins, and the shedding of his blood is too redeem us from death and sin.  Now at this point the Author has no answer only to be led by the Lord in this discussion.  So please listen in and draw some sense out of what prophesy may come forth.  Amen.

Human Sacrifice and Easter/Dr Pat Holliday/Dr Sabrina Sessions/Marshall Perot

    in Religion

    Human Sacrifice and Easter

An angel interrupts the sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham, with the animal replacement in the background (The Offering of Abraham, Genesis 22:1-13, workshop of Rembrandt, 1636)

Judaism explicitly forbids human sacrifice, regarding it as murder. Jews view the Akedah as central to the abolishment of human sacrifice. Some Talmudic scholars assert that its replacement is sacrifice of animals at the Temple —using Exodus 13:2–12f; 22:28f; 34:19f; Numeri 3:1ff; 18:15; Deuteronomy 15:19 subsequently denounces human sacrifice as barbaric customs of Moloch worshippers (e.g. Psalms 106:37ff).

Acts 12: 1 “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. 2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. Then were the days of unleavened bread -- (Known as Easter in modern times).

Pastor Jim Nuzum-Beware Of The Leaven Of The Pharisees

    in Christianity

    Luke 12:1 (KJV)
1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

    Mark 8:15 (KJV)
15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

Gal 5:9 — A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.

    Ochlocratic Report - Ochlocratic Review

    in Religion

Luke 9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

    7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

8 And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

9 And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

10 And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and The Holy Grail

    in Radio

On Thursday February 25th, 2016 the Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon
will present a reading and commentary on a chapter, by Fraters Thabion
and Solomon, from the forthcoming book Hermetic Yoga, Beyond the Middle
Pillar, Vol. 2, titled Jesus, Mary Magdalene, and the Holy Grail. This
will trace the story from Bethlehem to Camelot with some remarkable
surprises, such as Jesus was the grandson of King Herod the Great,
Jehovah was not his Father in Heaven, that he believed in equality for
women, and tolerance for the Gentiles. That he married a Phoenician
princess and sought to unite all Israel under the original Most High God
EL That his cousin Herod Antipas bribed Pontius Pilate to have him
executed, and that Mary Magdalene barely managed to escape with their
son to Southern France where they founded the Cult and the lineage of
the Sangreal -- Its all documented with the latest discoveries from
ancient archives, so tune in and we'll go beyond The D'Vinci Code.

Sunday Morning Divine Service - Feb 20 2016

    in Christianity

9 am Sunday morning Divine Service for 2/21/16. Traditional liturgy and law gospel sermon. Pastor Houser’s sermon from the gospel of Luke 13:31-35.

    Jesus is the Narrow Gate.

Christ declares this just before the gospel reading today. In the gospel reading, the Pharisees warn Jesus that Herod wants to kill Him. But it wasn’t time yet. Christ made a promise He would perform His earthly ministry and the crucifixion was a few years off.

We have the gift of hindsight of the crucifixion and resurrection -  and the prophets come into focus. However the second coming is in the future and God’s promises are sure. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. We will be with Him in that day.

John's Birth Announced to Zacharias (The Gospel According to Luke, chapter 1)

    in Religion

There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah.  His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.  And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordiances of the Lord blameless.  But they had no child, because Elizabeth was barren, and they were both well advanced in years.
