Today we're going to look at the news of the day, including a story that hasn't been covered much in the media, and that is the story of the lesbian, Charlie Rogers, who committed a hate crime against herself, whose story went international. She's skipped jail and gone missing.
Also, an update on Randy Thomas, as he has confirmed that you can be gay and Christian and he believes that God may bless him with a partner.
And the State of the Union is tonight and one big question is whether or not he will meet with Naghmeh Abedini.
This Saturday on Critical Discourse, we intend to cover the following:
A continuation on the 100% pay-raise demand from fast-food workers
Barack Obama’s decision not to pursue his vaunted “Comprehensive Immigration Reform” until after the 2014 election
An unusual hate crime in Brooklyn, New York, and why the relative silence?
In this reairing (repeat) episode, blogger Sacerdotus speaks on the recent tragedy in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where Craigs Hicks, a "militant atheist" and devotee of "new atheist" Dr. Richard Dawkins executed three young Muslim students. Hicks executed in cold blood: Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19 - See more at: http://www.sacerdotus.com/2015/02/atheist-kills-young-muslims.html#sthash.1lMfPTt1.dpuf.
The crime has sent shockwaves across the world, especially among atheists who often claim that atheism is a peaceful movement as opposed to religion which they claim causes war and death. Despite local law officials calling the crime an isolated incident over parking spaces, the possibility of it being a hate crime has not been ruled out. The federal goverment is investigating the crimes for possible charges of hate since Hicks' personal views on Facebook and in person exhibit hate towards God, religion and religious people. Sacerdotus gives his input on the tragedy and speaks on the psychology behind Hicks and atheists in general based on available research.

Coach advocates for a mandatory work detail for students who are habitually truant. Cee Cee sees the downside such as the likelihood of unequitable enforcement and flagrant violation of civil rights. Who has the better argument? You be the judge.
On our 2nd episode of Crime Time Hour here on A.C..E. Network, Alex Cardinale will be talking about a crime that takes places many times during a week in cities, towns, and anywhere around the USA. Most of these crimes usually don't make the BIG time news or mark an etch in histroy like shootings and killings do, but to me they are still a big crime. On today's episode of crime time hour, we will be talking about robberies. Any way you look at it Robberies are a dangerous crime and one that will land you in prison for quite a long time.
Some of the famous robberies that will be covered include: The famous Bonnie and Clyde, 1998 Bank of America robbery inside the World Trade Center, 1997 Loomis Fargo Robbery in North Carolina, North Hollywood shootout, 1997, deadly shootout between local law enforcement and two bank robbers, and more!!!!

Pastor Brad Morgan of New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison, TX continues speaking about how God is a God of visions and dreams. Dreams are the language of the Holy Spirit. We are talking about God-breathed dreams in your heart. God begins by speaking about God and America. Joel 2:28 says, "And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions." God says that He is going to raise up a maturity of the body of Christ. That body of Christ is going to do things that haven't been done. Ecclesiastes 5:3 says, "For a dream comes through much activity, And a fool’s voice is known by his many words." In birthing the dream God has for you requires effort, often painful effort.
Sometimes when you get a dream from the Holy Spirit people will hate you. Not always, but sometimes. God's dreamers are all throughout the land and He is restoring dignity to them. Luke 16:10-12 says, "He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own?" If you have been faithful, God will give you what is your own. This all relates to being planted in a local Church.
Learn how to walk in love. Be born again, be water baptised, be baptised in the Holy Spirit and be planted in a local Church. Pastor Brad continues to speak about the gift of praying in tongues and being able to interpret what you pray. Pray that God will use you and give you a profitable word of encouragement for others. Dreams are the language of the Holy Spirit.
On Saturday 23rd May at 2 pm CT (9 pm SA time) we will be talking to the founder of MillionVotes for Steve, Jaco Zaayman, Pieter Gericke and Amor van Heerden.
Million Votes for Steve was started 7 weeks ago as a Facebook group supporting the quest of local celebrity Steve Hofmeyr for a better South Africa for its white minority, and all other minorities. During the past 21 years minorities in South Africa have been marginalised, and the role of the white South African in the development of this country has been maligned. Our history, language, career prospects, schools and culture have been under constant attack, and a hatred towards us has been created by the ANC, by adjusting historical facts. Our action was started to give our people back the voice they have lost, and to let the world know we are dying

Al-anon can help families trying to understand drug and alcohol addiction and get their loved ones to quit. Al-anon uses the 12 steps to teach family members about addiction and to train us to avoid enabling the addiction. We learn to love the addict but to HATE their addiction.
Members of Al-anon also act as sponsors who are readily available to answer any questions that come up while we're trying to help our loved ones to end their drug addiction. How do we get them to stop using and go into treatment is the most common problem that Al-anon helps us to understand and address.
This week on Recovery now we discus how Al-anon works and why we benefit from it if we attend.
Join us on Saturday, May 23 at 10 a.m. Eastern time when our guest on Studio SPJ will be Brad Heath, a reporter with USA Today and the winner of the 2015 Al Nakkula award for police reporting.
Heath won the award for a series of stories in which he revealed how police and prosecutors nationwide had allowed nearly 200,000 fugitives to escape justice simply by crossing over state lines.
The series led authorities in at least four states to reconsider or reverse this policy.
The Nakkula award is named after the late Al Nakkula, a legendary cops and crime reporter for the Rocky Mountain News. The award is co-sponsored by The Denver Press Club and The University of Colorado's College of Media, Communication and Information.
This broadcastis co-sponsored by the Colorado chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
