Lovebite, Hard Rock/Sleaze out of Birmingham UK

    in Rock Music

Today, Pop Art Painter, Jamie Roxx welcomes the Birmingham UK Hard Rock/Sleaze band Lovebite.

    www.lovebiteofficial.com

    www.twitter.com/lovebiterules
    www.reverbnation.com/lovebiterules

The powerful and boisterous group formed by virtuosic front-man Jonny Sparks boasts a striking visual presence and hedonistic reputation rivaled by few. Lovebite's music is complex and gritty, with a solid hard, driving base; they are dark, sleazy, dirty and powerful - everything that good rock should be.
Having established themselves in record time as one of the UKs premier up-and-coming glam/sleaze bands with their heart-pounding and high-minded debut album 'LOCK 'N' LOAD'– Lovebite deliver an uncharacteristic fusion of hard, thrashy guitars and unique songwriting techniques, with a limber rhythm section that keeps the music loose yet powerful… and HIGHLY addictive.
With the zeitgeist dictating that the relevance of an album as an art form is under close scrutiny, debut album LOCK 'N' LOAD is a superlative, rip-roaring triumph that simply must be experienced from start to finish.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Hard Rock/Metal Band Seasons After

    in Rock Music

Hailing from the heartland, Seasons After is American hard rock personified. The Kansas five-piece lives and breathes the grind, the grit, and soul of hard rock, and after a three-year hiatus is back with a vengeance. Packing an arsenal of new music — and a few surprises forthcoming — Seasons After is ready to make some serious noise in 2014. “So Long Goodbye,” the lead single off of SA’s upcoming album Calamity, Scars & Memoirs, and first offering since 2010’s popular cover of G Tom Mac’s “Cry Little Sister” and “Getting Even”, is not only a testament to the band’s resurgence into the hard rock circuit, but a stimulating taste of what the band has really been up to the past three years. Formed in Wichita in 2006, Seasons After found early success on Vans Warped Tour, Taste of Chaos, and Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival—sharing the stage and touring with Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed, Stone Sour, Halestorm, Godsmack, Marilyn Manson, Slayer, Chevelle, Sevendust, Papa Roach, Bullet For My Valentine, Five Finger Death Punch, Seether, Three Days Grace, and more. The band’s first label release, Through Tomorrow, was well received by both domestic and international audiences with the lead single “Cry Little Sister” peaking at No. 13 on the Active Rock Charts and making its way into rotation on MTV, Vh1, and Spike. SA’s sophomore single “Getting Even” earned the band a second Top 50 single, making SA one of the most requested artists in active rock.Be sure to pick up a copy of their new album Calamity, Scars & Memoirs featuring the hit singles 'So Long Goodbye' and 'Wake Me.' The Kerri Edelman Show presents Hard Rock/Metal Band Nonpoint

    in Rock Music

Nonpoint released their new studio album, The Return on September 30th 2014 via Razor & Tie.  The album was produced by Grammy nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind, Megadeth) and Daniel Salcidoto. Nonpoint vocalist Elias Soriano explains, “Last record we stepped in a direction we've wanted to for years and our fans revered us for it.  This record we have gotten up to speed and dropped the pedal to the floor.  I think our fans will embrace this record in a way no other Nonpoint record has been viewed or loved.  We left no room for question of what we are trying to accomplish with our music or who we are. We haven't gone back to old school.  We didn't reflect on our past.  We didn't discuss what works. We are not "Statement" Nonpoint or even "Bullet" Nonpoint...... "The Return" is Nonpoint right now." Formed in 1997, Nonpoint has since released seven full-length albums and one live album selling over 800,000 albums in North America.  In late 2013, Nonpoint closed out a year of touring behind 2012’s self-titled record, which yielded the Active Rock radio hit “Left For You.” With over a decade of extensive road work under their belts, the band has toured with All That Remains, Mudvayne, Papa Roach, Sevendust, Disturbed, Flyleaf, Buckcherry, Drowning Pool, Stone Sour, and Hell Yeah and graced the stages of Ozzfest, Rock On The Range and Summerfest.  Now in 2014, their eighth full-length album The Return remains as raw, ripping, and real as these musicians—Elias Soriano [vocals], Robb Rivera [drums], Rasheed Thomas [guitar], Adam Woloszyn [bass], and B.C. Kochmit [guitar]. Pick up a copy of their amazing new album 'The Return' now featuring the hit single 'Breaking Skin.' For more information, visit nonpoint.com

Anyone want to coach the Giants?

    in Rock Music

After the pathetic performance this week by the Giants, I thinks its time to at least explore the possiblity  of finding a new Head coach. Does it end there? is Jerry Reese safe? Lets break Down this Giants Team. Also, good news is the Jets didnt lose, better news is that they didnt play at all. I think we all needed a break from the Circus that has become the Jets and their Season. The Knicks and Rangers are in full season mode and there is plenty of baseball to talk about. Anybody have an issue with Clayton Kershaw winning the MVP? No? well thats a touchy subject for me. As always pleanty of A-Rod stories and Yankee Moves to discuss. Oh and the Mets are so desperate to be relevant again they moved the fences in again. By the way arent they built on Pitching? Great Job. gona play some Music from a band I loved by in the 90's and Talk a little about their story. If you have nener heard of Sister Whiskey, I want you listen in. i think they came on the Hard Rock scene just a little late. But tune in too listen to what I have to tell you. Because I will keep in real and Rockin!!! See you This Thursday @ 6:30pm est.

The Kerri Edelman Show presents Australian Melodic Hard Rock Band Ragdoll

    in Rock Music

Australia and Rock n' Roll has gone hand in hand for decades by this point - AC/DC, Jet, and Wolfmother have all hailed from the land down under. And the continent has another hard rockin' contender on their hands, Ragdoll. Comprised of members Ryan Rafferty (lead vocals, bass), Leon Todd (guitar), and Cam Barrett (drums), the trio has a new album, 'Ragdoll Rewound' and an upcoming Rocklahoma performance. 'Ragdoll Rewound' is a compilation of Ragdoll's first two releases ('Ragdoll Rock' and 'Here Today') plus four live recordings, one of which is a new composition, "Rewind Your Mind." The trio revisited the first EP and had it remixed and polished the way they had always wanted to hear it. Songs like "Foot to the Floor" sound leaner and meaner while "The Feeling" is even more epic! Any issues the band may have had with the original 'Here Today' master have been fully rectified here too; while the new master of "Tell Me" in particular is a lot more dynamic and more true to the original mix. With an intense desire to inject new life into the music they love; Ragdoll's mission is to dismantle the sometimes tired genres of classic rock, hard rock and progressive rock and rebuild them, producing a modern hybrid that both transcends and revitalizes the traditional rock genres. The result is a sound that's bombastic and intricate, a sound that's full and brash, leaving many to question how this trio is capable of producing a live sound more akin to that of a five-piece. And it sounds like Ragdoll will be quite busy for the remainder of 2014. They're doing twenty shows, starting in California, then the Midwest and culminating in Vegas. Then they will return home to Australia to enter the studio to record the material they've prepared for their fourth all original studio release." For more information, visit www.ragdollrock.com
