This week's guest is Marika Hamilton.
From co-owner of a multi-million dollar software company to restaurant entrepreneur, it was a stage 3 cancer diagnosis that transitioned Marika Hamilton's life, work, and priorities.
Marika was quick to realize the cancer diagnosis was a massive platform for personal development and the spring board for her next endeavor. Believing that attitude is in large part responsible for outcome, Marika helps others understand how to see the gift of cancer, and how any other perceived negative circumstances can truly bring out the best of us, our best work and our most fulfilled existence.
An advocate for personal responsibility, especially when it comes to our health, Marika declined conventional cancer treatment and works hard to help others see the importance of being proactive in all areas of life.

Quarterback Brandon Bridge will attempt to make America’s team as an undrafted free agent. The native of Mississauga, Ont., said Sunday he has agreed to attend the Dallas Cowboys’ rookie mini-camp next weekend at Valley Ranch. Bridge added he hasn’t signed with the NFL club as of yet."I’m very excited about this," Bridge said in a telephone interview. "I’m really looking forward to it."Veteran Tony Romo is Dallas’s starter, with Brandon Weeden and Dustin Vaughan listed as his backups. It’s worth noting Romo signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Illinois after being bypassed in the 2003 NFL draft.Bridge became a free agent after being overlooked in this year’s draft, which concluded Saturday in Chicago. The six-foot-four 229-pound Bridge was looking to become the first Canadian-born quarterback selected since 2001 when Ottawa’s Jesse Palmer went in the fourth round to the New York Giants.

Tonight on he show we will be discusing the recent events from Baltimore that have been gripping the nation for the last past week. Amilcar Guzman from Casa De Maryland will be joining the discussion.
Also joining us will be filmmaker Ramon Hamilton. He will be discussing his new web series created to shed light on what many call the inhumane and tortuous practice of placing men, women and children in a cell with no human contact for 24 hours a day and, in some well-documented cases, for up to 30 years at a time.

America is a funny land.
Not funny as in "ha ha," but funny as in strange.
So strange that even though cops have historically been at odds with Blacks, people try to pretend that there is something else going on in a so-called justice system that sometimes seems like it persecutes just us.
But anyone who has lived in a poor neighborhood with their eyes and mind open realizes that the "Thin Blue Line," is typically erected between the "haves" and the "have nots," frequently doling out abuse to the "have nots."
And, the "have nots" don’t always get their day in court when there is abuse, which is why periodically, the people speak in the loudest voice possible—riots.
Ferguson spoke in that loud voice and now, Baltimore is speaking as well.
Perhaps no city has the reputation for rioting that Los Angeles has earned.
This April 29, marked the 23rd anniversary of the notorious LA Riots.
And it is business as usual, from Rodney King to Micheal Brown and from Eric Garner to Freddy Gray, countless Black men and women in between, as well as throughout American history.

NBA: Breaking down round 1 of the NBA Playoffs, and previewing round 2.
Which teams are poised to contend for the NBA Championship?
Did we get our picks right from the begining of the season?
NFL: Breakdown of round 1 of the NFL draft.
Who made the biggest impact? Which trades helped teams most?
MLB: Early season surprises, which teams are living up to expectations and who isn't?
Talk the Josh Hamilton situation.
Boxing: Who will win the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.?
The sports world is jam packed with asinine drama and news. Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo guide you through this minefield.
It's the typical heel vs baby matchup of the century. Your favorite sports genius' give their picks of the Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight. George, the face, goes Pac-Man. Mike, the heel, goes Floyd $Money$. Mayweather vs Pacquiao is something we've been waiting for over half a decade, but it is far from the only major event of the week.
Major League Baseball is through one month of the news season, but some off the field issues are taking over the headlines. A game was played in Baltimore buffoon free, so without fans! Was there any other option in light of the riots? Alex Rodriguez is chasing Willie Mays' 660 home runs. This is a baseball milestone to everyone but the New York Yankees. Are the Yankees right to ignore this? Is there really any legal way the Yankees can not pay him the bonus? From star whose franchise hates him, to one that got shipped out. Josh Hamilton is a Texas Ranger again. Why didn't the Angels get anything of value in this deal?
Oh yeah, there are postseasons going on. As we head towards the second round in the NBA, how does the landscape look? Did the Cavs title hopes get hit without Kevin Love? What's the level of concern around Atlanta and the optimism around the Wizards and Bulls? San Antonio won't die.
We are also in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Can the Wild and Flames derail a seemingly destined Chicago vs Anaheim West Final? Which superstar needs to step up in the East? Stamkos? Nash? Ovechkin?
Expect the NFL Draft recap discussed on the next episode. Our guarantee is Cleveland will surely "Cleveland."
