When you see or hear the slogan Black lives matter what does that mean to you; What is taking place in our country that leads many to believe that the lives of blacks does not matter?
If there is legitimate concerns surrounding issues of policing and police practices in communities of color, particularly the African-American communities why do some individuals attempt to diminished or ignore these concerns, by talking about issues of African-American fathering and community violence among black youths?

The community often hears a lot of rhetoric about Gun Violence and Control....but FACAA hears very little on this topic as it concerns the victims that comprise the working class and the poor. The topic of VOTING is a hot topic as FACAA hears candidates say, "the poor don't vote". This means that the poor may not matter to the electorate. Could the poor and working class be contributors to this political position? We want to cover the question of the Millenials who are feeling left out of the American dream. This category of citizens are burdened with Student Loans and cannot find a job that pays decent wages to cover their debts or live the dream that society planted in their hopes and personal quests for success. and the world is at war...the world! So what about the domestic economy? So many cutbacks, inflation, rising costs of living ....less pay....!!! LET'S TALK AMERICA!

The latest school shooting in Oregon is the 45th since the start of 2015. It seems like America has not learned from the tragedy of Sandy Hook and other tragic school shootings. Does anyone on Capitol Hill really care about stopping this problem of gun violence in America?
How do all the Presidential candidates feel about the latest school shooting? The National Rifle Association calls the shots as powerful lobbyists on Capitol Hill. In true American form..."Money Talks And Bullshit Walks!" It is a sad state of affairs but, WE CAN & WILL DO BETTER!

Diane Lattiker,Founder of Kids Off The Block (KOB) has built a memorial for the many young victims of gun violence, marking the names of each one on small, tombstone like bricks and placing them in rows side by side in a small building at 116th and Michigan street in Chicago. There are already more than 500 names and the list goes on and on as each weekend brings more tragic shootings. A group of mothers whose children have lost their loves to gun violence recently asked President Obama to send some type of Federal help th stop the violence. Ms. Latiker joins us today to discuss the movement to stop the killings, and how community residents and those we have elected to represent us can help.
Guns in America kill more poeple in America than we realize, yet elected officials are not willing to pass strong legislation to keep weapons away from the people who should not have access to them. Why? There are many reasons including the opposition by the NRA. We will discuss it today.. Join me and Annette Jimenez as we discuss the issue.
Many attended the special premier of Spike Lee's controversial film, Chiraq last night at the Chicago Theater. Today we'll talk to some of the young men and women who viewed the movie and get their perspective: will the film's focus on sex get young people's attention? Is the idea of withholding sex to get a truce between gangs something young women would possibly agree to? Did the film handle the real matter of children shot dead in a serious enough manner? Would you recommend this movie to your friends? Do you think men and women involved in gang violence will be influenced by this film at all
