Workshop Wednesdays with Host Tony Gambone and this weeks guest M. Lachi & Amy Gale:
M. Lachi - a grammy nominated songwriter, traditionally published novelist, advanced toastmaster and music director for several ensembles. I am also the CEO of my own startup Music-scribes which turns aural music into sheet music and custom arrangements and film scoring for clients. Having studied for a management degree at UNC and a music degree at NYU, I sought to combine my newfound business acumen with my niche musical composition and scoring skills. I started doing one off freelance projects while at NYU throughout 2007 to 2009 and officially opened the virtual doors to the business in 2014.
Amy Gale - the author of Amazon New Adult Bestsellers, Blissful Tragedy, published with 5 Prince Publishing, and Blissful Valentine. I have been a member of the Romance Writers of America for the past few years with an affiliation in the Valley Forge chapter. Over the past few months I’ve participated in numerous book signings, magazine interviews, and two televised interviews. I’m a romance author by night, pharmacist by day, and attended Wilkes University where I graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. In addition to writing, I enjoy baking, scary movies, rock concerts, and reading books at the beach. I live in the lush forest of Northeastern Pennsylvania with my husband, six cats, and golden retriever.

Some musicians have the ability to transform your very being with the gifts of their artistry. Master pianist and composer, David Lanz, is that kind of force. The Grammy nominated pianist, has enthralled music lovers around the world for decades with his engaging playing style and original compositions. Ahead of his time, the visionary Grammy-nominated and chart-topping pianist has remained a pioneer in the genre of New Age music. Nominated for a Grammy in 2000, he is well known as a top instrumental recording and concert artist, reaching worldwide prominence with his number one Billboard hit, Cristofori’s Dream.
His unique impressionistic style is emulated by countless pianists, and his compositions and arrangements are performed and studied around the world. His release, Cristofori’s Dream was a million-selling musical thank you note to Bartolomeo Cristofori, the man who invented the piano in the 17th century. Alvin penned four songs on Joe’s latest CD entitled, Doubleback Evolution of R&B, which was released on July 2,, 2013.
In a previously recorded special edition of Off the Record with Georgette Pierre, I took my radio show on the road. While in LA, I met up with Grammy nominated producer, Mason Levy, known for his work on Justin Bieber's hit single "Boyfriend", Maroon 5's "Daylight", and much more…all at the age of 22. We met up in beautiful Pasadena and what was so inspiring about his story was his humility, having achieved his level of success at such a young age but his drive to tell his story through what he loves to do. Having signed a publishing deal at such a young age, his story is nowhere near over and our conversation was just the beginning.
Grammy Nominated, Hip-Hop Group, SHOP BOYZ, Debuts their new single " On and On " ATLANTA, GA -- (July 28, 2015) -- Known for their mega hit single, “Party Like a
Rockstar,” the Shop Boyz (Demetrius “Meany” Hardin, Richard “Fat” Stephens and Rasheed “Sheed” Hightower) have created another hit song that is sure to tug at America’s heartstrings. The powerful video will premiere across the country.
“On and On” is a cultural wake-up call about police brutality in America today. Fat focuses on how police brutality affects them all personally and emotionally, while Sheed focuses on current events and past occurrences dealing with social injustice. Meany ties everything together musically with his melody that emphasizes the never-ending struggle of social injustice.
In a recent interview, The Shop Boyz was asked what was the writing process like creating such a powerful song. "The process wasn't hard per say. The hardest part was that we even had to do the song that these situations direct us to talk about these situations," says Fat.

The enchanting music of Grammy-nominated John Two-Hawks is considered by many to be a quantum leap above the fray. It soars with breath taking symphonic sounds in one moment, and then soothes the spirit with the powerful organic voice of a lone Native flute in the next. A master virtuoso of the Native American Flute, JTH is also an extraordinary vocalist, musician and composer.
Always, Two-Hawks has held fast to his Oglala Lakota Sioux lineage and culture, and it is from this place that the soul of the music he creates and breathes to life is born....
John Two-Hawks' music is alive. If you've heard it, then you know. If not, then we need to tell you that it is nothing like any Native American Flute Music you've ever heard before. Not only has John Two-Hawks worked with metal bands, but he is a bit of a metalhead himself, citing Rob Zombie and Ozzy as some of his favorite music to listen to. Metal fans probably best know him for his contribution on the Nightwish song "Creek Mary's Blood" from their 2004 album Once, but John Two-Hawks has been making music for a long time, and is now preparing to enter the musical realm of holiday music!
For this magical Christmas album, John Two-Hawks joins his 'celestial sister', Johanna Kurkela, angelic Finnish singer and recording artist, as they blend their brilliant voices with sparkling music and enchanting flutes for this beautiful collaboration. A reflective, delightful, mystical tapestry of songs and sounds that will stir your heart and touch your spirit. Our first guest of the holiday season, John Two-Hawks will bring along 3 new songs from the upcoming Noel album (released on December 4th), where you will hear 3 brand-new songs before release date! Be sure to tune in, because you never know...he might bring along some other surprises with him!
