Dr. Glidden's guest, Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, warns listeners about the grave dangers of vaccines. Gottfried's back with glaucoma questions and Blake's friend has IBS. Jo has sinusitis but she's worried about her husband's toenails too. This is such an interesting and informative show!
Hi and welcome back to episode 2 in the basset hound glaucoma study that I am investigating. Please help me learn more about the blind colony that is being held against their will for research. The colony is like a hot potato and moves around a fair amount. Rumors have them in the midwest at a BHCA breeder. All of my questions to the my club go unanswered.
Do you have information?

Miss PercyMae comes to us again after church to discuss the use of Marijuana. Laws have changed, and more people are prescribed marijuana for illnesses, such as glaucoma and other ailments. At the same time, many people are misusing the prescription just to have a license to purchase it.
Is it illicit? Is it medicine? PercyMae wants to talk about it.
On this episode, she invites Poet and Entertainer, Terry Moore of T-Mo Entertainment to discuss this topic of marijuana.

Does your pet have dry eye? According to dvm360 Magazine , dry eye is a condition in which the tear production is decreased or absent. Common clinical signs associated with this disease are:
Squinting or holding the eye completely closed
A thick, sticky discharge that is often yellowish or greenish in color
Corneal cloudiness creating a dull sheen to the eye(s)
The superficial layers of the eye, including the cornea and conjunctiva, as well as the eyelids depend on tears for nutrition and protection. Without tears, these structures are highly susceptible to disease and trauma.
Some breeds of dogs, such as the American Cocker Spaniel, Miniature Schnauzer, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso, Pug, Westhighland White Terrier, and English Bulldog are predisposed to this disease due to genetic factors. This clinical disease is also seen in felines (i.e. Persians). The causes of dry eye include immune-mediated, congenital, infectious (canine distemper virus), drug-induced (sulfa antibiotics, Etogesic, topical atropine), surgery-induced (removal of the tear gland of the nictitans) and neurogenic. A significant amount of canine cases tend to be immune-mediated and maintenance treatment is required for the life of the pet. Parotid duct transposition surgery can be considered if medical treatment fails to significantly increase the tear production.
Our goals in the medical therapy of your pet are to: 1) Improve tear function, 2) prevent ocular disease and 3) improve patient comfort. Client compliance and follow-up visits are important in evaluating your pet’s response to the medical therapy.

Hello Everyone! My name is Michelle Cornwell-Jordan one of your host and my co-host Jamie White is also joining me! I am very excited because today we are having a chance to chat with UK Children's Author Victoria Zigler!
Victoria Zigler Bio: My name is Victoria, but most of my friends and family call me Tori. Feel free to do the same.
Born in the shadow of the black mountains in Wales, I now live by the sea in the south-east of England with my husband, Kelly, a West Highland White Terrier named Keroberous, a pair of gerbils named Bilbo and Baggins, and four Degus whose names are Jacob, Jasper, Jenks and Joshua.
Having battled with glaucoma since birth, I now find myself completely blind. But I didn't let that stop me from chasing the dream I've had since I was a young child: the dream of being a published author. I've loved to read and write since I learned how, and always wanted to get my work published. Finally, in 2012, I made that dream come true by self-publishing. So now I'm a published author of children's fiction, as well as a couple of poetry collections.

Welcome to the Cannabis Times Magazine Weekly Online Radio Show.--- Designed for the highly interactive, passionate proponents of Medical Marijuana. Elvy Musikka, Glaucoma patient. She was great on the Show! Can't wait to have her back.
Living in Oregon, Elvy Musikka bought the Reefer Madness story, hook, line and sinker. As her already bad eyesight continued to deteriorate, she endured prescription pharmaceutical drugs which had uncomfortable side effects, but little effect on her glaucoma. Turning to ever more desperate measures, Elvy agreed to undergo a risky surgery on her better, right eye. The operation left her blinded in that eye.
Only then did she consider suggestions to try using marijuana to reduce the buildup of inner eye pressure. To her grudging surprise, she found that it seemed to work.
Elvy discussed the effect with her doctor, and did her own experiments by eating marijuana brownies before certain visits to the doctor. His measurements of her eye pressure verified that the herb did, indeed, have the effect of lowering the pressure. Elvy began to grow her own plants and found that she was good at it; good enough to attract the attention of the police, who arrested her. She argued medical necessity and the judge agreed to hear the testimony. At this point Elvy learned that the doctors had never recorded her observations about marijuana, leaving her to rely on the testimony of expert witnesses and her new physician, who agreed that nothing else had been effective and that marijuana made a measurable difference in her eye pressure. The judge ruled in her favor.
Elvy is now an ardent and inspiring spokesperson for cannabis reform. Fantastic Show!
