Talking In Circles: We break down the Tony Stewart situation

    in Sports

On this episode of Talking in Circles we break down the Tony Stewart situation and what it means for his retirement tour and we discuss who we think will take over the No. 14 Chevrolet for the begining of the season and why. We also talk about the impact it will have on NASCAR and the Daytona 500.

Also, Michael Waltrip will race for BK Racing in the No. 83 Toyota with Maxwell House as sponsor. We discuss that move and potentially a fourth BK Racing car at Daytona as well.

Also Premium Motorsports has hired Cole Whitt to drive the team's No. 98 entry for the entire 2016 season. Whitt will be on his fourth team in three years.

Kyle Larson just met his crew chief last week. We discuss whether or not that means anything for the 2016 season.

It was announced today that Matt Tifft will drive for JGR in 13 NASCAR XFINITY Series races in 2016. We'll talk about how we think he'll do.

BJ McLeod Motorsports will run a two car operation for the 2016 season with the owner driving the No. 78 Ford Mustang. The team will have a variety of drivers in the No. 99 Ford Mustang, running full-time. We'll discuss that plus Harrison Rhodes moving to Obaika Racing and that organization having a two car team.

On the truck series side of things Cameron Hayley joins a four truck effort at ThorSport Racing for 2016 and Parker Kligerman will run Daytona for RBR Enterprises and Jordan Anderson will run full-time.

Plus we still have no idea if the franchising deal will be in place for Daytona or not.

It's going to be a jammed packed 1 hour show and we take your calls at 917-889-8280.

    Meet Ms. Katrina Walker EPK

    in Spirituality

Katrina Walker is an outstanding example of how to beat the odds when they are stacked against you. As an entrepreneur, philanthropist, and motivator, she took being a witness to cultural, domestic, and financial tumult and converted what she learned into a motivational tool to fight victimhood. Walker went from being a struggling teen bride, to a divorced mother of four, to a trailblazer who has over the past 25 years built thriving enterprises; including a 24-hour day care center, multiple real estate holdings, a record label, and state-of-the-art recording studio-all while becoming a self-made millionaire.

Her renowned Tennessee based RainbowKidz Learning Center is currently expanding into a national brand, while Walker is being busily pursued as a motivating life coach, with personal stories that demonstrate that anything is possible.

The experience of being in an abusive relationship, both mental and physical, allowed her a keen sense for spotting those in similar crisis, and out of this has grown yet another community supportive enterprise at Walker's helm: the BE (Blind Eye) Foundation, whose mission and motto is to "BE the difference and not turn a Blind Eye to society." With the impact of her encouraging words and motherly guidance-often delivered through her sassy, tell-it-straight, southern style-she is using the BE foundation to launch ongoing, nationally aired PSA's that will weave a true picture of domestic violence-chronicling the cycle of abuse from male and female perspectives. Not only will her media campaign shine the light on often undiscussed areas of abuse, she will narrate solutions, encouraging a way out of victim-hood.

Walker is writing her memoir with award-winning journalist Clarence Waldron, former Jet senior writer and editor, who was mentored by the late best-selling author and poet, Dr. Maya Angelou.

Trans-Pacific Partnership - The Death of Sovereignty with Meghan Sali

    in Politics

    Trans-Pacific Partnership

12 nations, 11% of global population, 40% of the global economy, 25% of global imports, 30% of global exports. 800 million people bound by an agreement negotiated in secret from the citizens and almost all elected representatives. Who wrote it then? Trade representatives with multi-national corporate lobbyists and executives at the tables from start to finish.

A 30 chapter agreement with 5 involving actual trade. Environment. Financial Services. Patents. Copyrights. Intellectual Property. Pharmaceuticals. Health Care. Investment. Labour. Market Access. Procurement. Tobacco. State Owned Enterprises. Biotechnology and GMO's. And a new iron-clad version of the infamous Investor State Dispute Settlement "mechanism" complete with secret tribunals, secret judgements and secret awards. 5,544 pages worth of regulations, schedules, indexes, timetables and LOOPHOLES to empower the most powerful corporations on earth to have veto power say over how signatory nations will live their day-to-day lives. This is the latest method for the mostly American corporate elite to bypass the WTO, exclude and isolate "unfriendly" economies, enslave "freindly" economies and laugh all the way to the bank.

Protests have been raging in every "partner nation" for years as February 4 nears as the day for "signing" of the agreement in Auckland, New Zealand. There is no opting out of any section or provision unless stated before that signing by any nation. No renegotiation.

We are joined by Meghan Sali, a digital rights specialist with OpenMedia, org, leading the organization's free expression campaigns. For the past two years, she has been co-ordinating the campaign to shed light on the implications of TPP as they relate to preserving our online rights and building a properous, inclusive digital future.

Tune in and hear the facts on TPP.

Diabetes Late Nite Inspired by Tamar Braxton

    in Health

Tonight we’re turning up the volume on our ‘GLAM MORE, FEAR LESS’ philosophy and talking about ‘SEXY SHOES YOU CAN DANCE IN’ with musical inspiration from Tamar Braxton.

Find a great looking pair of shoes that don’t hurt your feet can be a challenge especially if you’re living with diabetes.

Although Tamar Braxton faced this challenge each week when she famously competed on ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ she’s probably still best known for being the brash talking, younger sister on the ‘Braxton’s Family Values’ TV Show. Tamar says, “Family’s can go through ups and downs. Who’s right or wrong but at the end of the day I love them and wouldn’t trade them for the world.”

Did you know Tamar’s husband Vince recovered from a pulmonary embolism he suffered in November 2011? Since her husband’s sickness, Tamar Braxton has continued to spread the good word of health to her entire family.  From her firstborn to her sisters, she’s creating opportunities for herself and everyone else to stay healthy as well.

Vibe Magazine’s Diamond Hillyer reviewed Tamar’s “Calling All Lovers” album and said, “She meticulously strings the highs, lows and every in-between of love, sex and relationships."

Guests include Poet Lorraine Brooks, the Charlie’s Angels of Outreach, Dr. Monique Renee Rolle, Samantha Shaken, Catherine Schuller AICI, CIP and Mama Rose Marie. Prize giveaways courtesy of Earth Brand Shoes, Dr. Greenfield’s Diabetic Foot Creams, Cabot Cheese and Nu Naturals.

Throughout the podcast we will be playing songs from“Calling All Lovers” courtesy of SONY MUSIC. This podcast proudly supports the Spare A Rose campaign.

    Kelly Maglia ... Rock, Metal

    in Rock Music

Tonight Pop Art Painter Jamie Roxx (www.JamieRoxx.us) welcomes Rocker Kelly Maglia to the Show!

    http://kellymaglia.com

Metal has a new maiden with Kelly Maglia.  Kelly not only channels the best of 80s glam metal (think Skid Row and Heart had a love child), but she does it with a Cirque du Soleil twist.  Motley Crue may have thrown dollar bills at girls, girls, girls, but Kelly takes the pole back and enters the scene as a new kind of Heavy Metal Goddess: singer, acrobat and musician all at once.

The songstress released her first EP 'Just Enough Rough' December 1st, 2015.  The EP ranges from feel-good modern hair metal to darker, progressive themes of alienation in modern American suburbia.  Four of the EP’s five songs, co-written by Kelly, are her original lyrics and music.  EP also features a reved up version of Aerosmith’s “Love in an Elevator” with a raucous video to match.
