This week on JetNation Radio we will discuss the recent roster cuts as the Jets released several players to get down to the league mandated 75 player limit. Our hosts Brandon Dowling and Joe Blewett give updates on who is in and who is out. The cuts mean that the Jets have a new punt returner in Jalen Saunders and a new kickoff returner in Saalim Hakim. The final set of cuts will happen on Saturday so there will be plenty of roster talk.
Joe and Brandon will also take your calls and look at what we learned about the Jets so far this preseason. We want to hear from you, tell us what you think about the Dimitri Patterson situation and how Geno Smith and the offense looked against the Giants.

After three humiliating defeats in a row Geno Smith benched twice, having a 14 quarterback rating with the Jets outscored 79-20, the season looks lost as does the team.
JetNation is invited to join hosts Dennis Agapito and Tyson Rauch to discuss the latest events which have sent this season spiraling out of control. Phone lines will be open 646-716-4697 as many questions now face this team:
Will Rex Ryan and assistant coaches be let go after the year?
Who is to blame for the obvious regression of Geno Smith?
Did the team overachieve early only to reveal their true selves?
Should the team draft a quarterback next year?
Does John Idzik deserve some criticism?
Should someone other then Geno start against the Raiders?
Call in and talk about the future of our New York Jets.
