5 Steps to Permanent Gut Healing with Christa Orecchio

    in Health

Christa Orecchio, clinical and holistic nutritionist, joins Elevate Your Energy Radio to talk about the 5 steps to permanent gut healing. Unlike other approaches which treat diseases or even symptoms, Christa's Gut Thrive approach brings healing from the root cause. I personally went through the Gut Thrive program and wholeheartedly endorse it for anyone who's looking for permanent healing and change.

In this show, you'll learn the 5 steps to gut healing including:

    1) slashing inflammation

    2) pathogen purge

    3) reseeding and healing the gut

    4) HCL evaulation and terraforming

    5) 80/20 maintenance

Christa walks us through each step and answers questions like:

    - how can fermented foods like kombucha or yogurt or high fiber make our digestion worse?

    - why do people get recurrent infections and continue to suffer even after getting treated for digestive problems?

    - what kind of balance do we want in our microbiome?

    - how can we reset our gene expression by changing our gut health?

You can learn more about Christa and the Gut Thrive in 5 Program by clicking HERE.

Benny Goodman and His Orchestra ‎– Sing, Sing, Sing

    Format: Shellac, 12", 78 RPM

    Country: US

    Genre: Jazz

    Style: Big Band, Swing

A: Sing, Sing, Sing Part 1

B: Sing, Sing, Sing Part 2

Record Company – Radio Corporation of America

This was recorded July 6, 1937 in Hollywood, mixes 09671-2 and 09672-2 and issued as 36205. Arranger is Jimmy Munday.

My copy of "Sing, Sing, Sing" (introducing "Christopher Columbus" [Louis Prima]) is 12" RCA Victor 36205A-B. The top of the label says "Swing Classic," perhaps suggesting that it was part of a set; I don't have the rest of the set, if indeed it came with. The entire personnel of the Goodman band at that time is listed on the labels (both sides!). Included are such luminaries as Hymie Schertzer and Adrian Rollini, saxes; Harry James and Ziggy Elman, trumpets; Harry Goodman (BG's brother), string bass; Jess Stacy, piano; Gene Krupa, drums. Total 14 (5 reeds, incl. BG; 3 trpts., 2 trombones, 4 rhythm (piano, bass, drums, guitar). Mmm, not a bad bunch

    Greatest Dancing in the Movies

    in Movies

Who are the greatest dancers of the silver screen? What are the top dance films and routines? In honor of the upcoming National Tap Dance Day, Movie Addict Headquarters revisits a lively discussion featuring avid dance fan Fausta Rodriguez, co-host Jazz Shaw, producer Nikki Starr -- and host Betty Jo Tucker, a former tap dancer. The encore presentation is dedicated to Derek Hough, one of today’s most dynamic dancers and star of the movie Make Your Move. Fortunately, Derek has recovered enough from his Dancing with the Stars injury to go on tour this summer with his sister Julianne Hough.

Which dancers will be named the best by the show’s diverse panel? Among the contenders are: Gene Kelly, Cyd Charisse, Gregory Hines, Eleanor Powell, Fred Astaire, the Nicholas Brothers, Ginger Rogers, Debbie Reynolds, Donald O’Connor, Leslie Caron, Vera Ellen, Christopher Walken and Bill Robinson, whose birthday is celebrated on May 25 – a date established by the U.S. Congress as National Tap Dance Day in his honor.

Some of the films under consideration during this episode include: Assassination Tango, The Bandwagon, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Singin’ in the Rain, Shall We Dance, Billy Elliott, West Side Story, Take the Lead, Flashdance, Hairspray, Easter Parade, Step Up, Footloose, Dirty Dancing and Tap.

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

Some of The Africans and African Americans today have the mistaken impression that only a small amount of Freedmen returned to Africa.  Now with the awful tribal wars going on from the Cape to Ciro we see Xenophobic attacks against not just tribal Africans but against children of former enslaved Africans from America. Some one has told them that the are pure blood African and with these Americans coming to Africa now in the 21st century we will pollute their gene pool and take over their country.  One continental African had the nerve to write on Facebook "there is a reason we sold you into slavery". Yes there were several poor excuses that greedy corrupt individuals sold their own race into slavery but I am sure that in the eyes of God Allah none of them will hold water.  The first account of Africans being sold into slavery was the Arab Slave trade. In the 1600's Africans again sold into slavery on the West Coast were sold from the French colonies and began with the Creole of Senegal because they wanted to make sure no children of the White colonizers would rule, another flimsy excuse to steal land and property.  There has never been an account of Slavery being imposed as a way to depose unfit rulers, criminal elements, or cannibalism.

Project We Hope Dream & Believe

    Special Guest

LaKeisha Smith is an activist for human rights and for breast cancer awareness. She is the proud parent of four children and a new grandbaby. Its being a mother that has forced LaKeisha to step forward on educating more vigorously on health and genetics such as the BRCA1 gene she carries. Her stock does not fall from a tree unripe as Keishas' mother Michelle Smith has been a leader in the community within the realm of gentle teaching with JARC Inc. for all of Lakeishas' life. LaKeisha wears many hats but takes none as seriously or works with as much passion as she does at being the BEST parent she can offer to her children.

LaKeisha made a decision years ago to work at making her community and issues she stumbled over not as difficult for others. She has worked with teen pregnancy groups such as Lula Belle Stewart Services, and taught sexual responsibility at St. Johns Church on Oakland Ave in Detroit with Pastor Bertha Carter. LaKeisha also saw a need for individuals who re enter society from prison to have work so she aided in the discipline of employment with MPRI - Creating Safer Neighborhoods and Better Citizens via Insight Teleservices. "All these things are needed in rebuilding and healing the family structure within the community, but you must teach others how to heal themselves and how to build a positive self esteem first" says Keisha.

PSHRadio Speaks To Dr. Barry E. Taff

    in Paranormal

Dr. Barry E. Taff, who holds a doctorate in psychophysiology with a minor in biomedical engineering, is a world-renowned parapsychologist who worked out of UCLA’s former Parapsychology Laboratory from 1969 through 1978 as a research associate.  During his four-decade career, Dr. Taff has investigated more than 4,500 cases of ghosts, hauntings, poltergeists and conducted extensive studies in telepathy and precognition, eventually developing the initial protocols and methodologies for what was later termed “remote viewing”.  He also, was himself, investigated as a psychic subject, the results of which were published in Behavioral Neuropsychiatry, “A Laboratory Investigation of Telepathy: The Study of A Psychic”, Vol. 6, Nos. 1-12, April-December 1974-January-March, 1975.

One of the cases Dr. Taff investigated in 1974 gained international fame as the book and motion picture, The Entity, starring Barbara Hershey and Ron Silver, released by Fox in 1983.  Dr. Taff served as technical advisor on The Entity as well as being represented in the film by the character “Gene Kraft”. What’s unknown by the media is the fact that, in real life, The Entity followed its female victim for quite some time after our initial investigation, continuing its vociferous nature. Doris Bither died in 1999 of cardiopulmonary arrest at the age of 58.
