67 - Lawn Darts to the Face, Fatal Toys and Random Obscurities

    in Pop Culture

Biff sent me this long-ass list of many topics for this week's episode ...

"Obsucre TV shows/cartoons from the 80's.

    Collecting

    Play-Doh

Why we got rid of Lawn Darts (I blame bad parenting)

Come hang out with the Queens, in the playhouse; as we slow it down, and get your week started.  A house is not a home when there's no one to share it with.  When you are building your home, you have to make sure there is a foundation.  If the foundation is not sturdy, the home is sure to collapse. Build for a life time, not just for the moment.  We hope to see you in the playhouse; where only the grown and sexy play. We bring you those love songs, that you haven't heard in a while.

If corruption exists, it is in part because we the people permit it, either by silence, by inattention or by misunderstanding. If persistent voter fraud and outdated election procedures are to be remedied, the public and the media will have to demand it. Ignoring, or refusing to recognize, the enduring problems of election fraud and mismanagement that plague many parts of our country will ensure that it spreads, mutates and grows more toxic.”

Cruz vows to shun negative campaigning

    By KEVIN ROBILLARD

    3/29/15 11:03 AM EDT

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is swearing off negative campaigning as he begins his run for the White House.

“There may be other candidates who choose to throw rocks in my direction,” the GOP presidential hopeful said in an interview aired Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I’m not going to engage in the personal mudslinging, in the negative attacks on people’s character.”

Cruz last week became the first Republican to officially enter the presidential race. But he insisted that, despite his reputation as an archconservative and a bomb-thrower, he had avoided personal attacks over the past two years in the Senate.

“In my time in the Senate, there’s been more than a few rocks tossed in my direction from Democrats and Republicans,” he said. “Yet in my entire time there, I haven’t reciprocated. You have never heard me speak ill of any senator, Republican or Democrat, and I don’t intend to start.”
