SPECIAL GUEST LARS NIELSEN
For every motorcycle and car enthusiast, the Bonneville Salt Flats hold a special place near and dear to our hearts. The Salt Flats are the home of speed; every year, motorheads from all over the world travel to the state of Utah in an attempt to push their machines and themselves to the limit. Speed is the name of the game, and some of the most incredible pieces of engineering in the world are in attendance to play that game. This week on Classic Chrome, be sure to tune in as we interview our first international guest. Joining us this week from Denmark is Mr. Lars Nielsen, who is in the process of building what is undoubtedly going to be the world’s fastest Nimbus motorcycle. Nimbus motorcycles were produced by the Danish firm Fisker and Nielsen from 1919 until 1960. These machines were powered by a 749cc, single overhead cam, inline four cylinder engine that produced between 18-22 horsepower, hooked up to a three speed transmission with shaft final drive. A stock Nimbus is capable of cruising at 55 mph with a short top speed burst of 75 mph; Lars is in the process of building a rip-roaring example which he will be campaigning at
Bonneville this year. Lars’ Nimbus is set into a custom, low-slung frame and the motor comes complete with a supercharger. No matter how fast his machine goes, it will likely become the fastest example of the Danish four cylinder in the world. Join us at 7pm Central as we sit down to discuss this incredible project.

RTW Veteran Center offers a home, food, and a family atmosphere to homeless veterans who have returned from war only to find that the family they had can no longer cope with them and the country they risked their lives to defend has forgotten them. Today we're working together to give special support to RTW - which stands for Remaking The World. So many famlies are in crisis, suffering the effects of the military veterans have come home still suffering from the Post Traumatic Stress Disorder of combat, and having nowhere to turn for counseling. How do you cope when your spouse is a war veteran? Could a sudden flashback cause them to pick up a weapon and do you bodily harm? Female veterans are suffering even greater issues, many having been survivors of rape by their fellow officers, and not able to report the incidences or seek justice, are still living with the trauma after they have returned home. Dr. Daniel Habeel and Arnetha Habeel discuss their struggle to provide a home and a place of healing for service men and women. Other guests join us to tell their shocking stories. We urge you to lend a helping hand today, by going to www.rtwvetcenter.org and hit "Donate"!

The FBI uses a fleet of planes registered under fictitious companies in order to conduct warrantless surveillance during federal, state and local investigations. The surveillance is conducted without a court order, but with oversight from within the Department of Justice, according to a senior law enforcement official.
Aerial surveillance by the FBI is nothing new, but a review by The Associated Press published this week reported that the scale of the fleet is larger than previously known and the planes are registered in a way to mask that they are owned by the FBI.
The agency flew above more than 30 cities in 11 states over a 30-day period, according to the AP review, and their report also said planes was masked by the existence of at least 13 fictitious companies."At least 115 planes, including 90 Cessna aircraft, were mentioned in a federal budget document from 2009," the AP reported.
