GBBLive returns to its normal Thursday night time slot at 7 CT talking the week that was in Grizzly Bear Blues, and man, what a week!
Host Joe Mullinax will be joined by a special guest, GBB Senior Staff Writer Keith Edwards in the first segment! It'll be the first time Keith has been on since the season ended, so we will be sure to get Keith's overall perspective on the Grizzlies' offseason this far and also look ahead to the 2014 FIBA World Cup, in which Memphis' own Marc Gasol will participate. A busy week for the Beale Street Bears means a loaded episode of GBBLive Thursday night at 7 CT!
The first segment of the program Managing Editor of Grizzly Bear Blues Chris Faulker will join Host Joe Mullinax for the weekly "Grizzly Bear News" portion of the show. Between the NBA Draft, Zach Randolph Contract extension, moving on from Ed Davis, Free Agency starting and the Summer League rosters being announced, there will be a ton to discuss in addition to how these events were covered by the great staff of Grizzly Bear Blues!
The second segment will feature an appearance from Jonathan May of 3SOB Radio on Sports56WHBQ in Memphis and 3ShadesofBlue.com. JMay undoubtedly has plenty of opinions on how this offseason has gone so far for the Grizzlies, and we will especially get his perspective on if he feels this roster as presently constructed can contend for an NBA championship.

We will get Chris' take on the major GBB additions of the past couple weeks, as well as how he feels about the moves of Robert Pera less than 3 months removed from the major front office shakeups. Chris and Joe will also talk about Kevin Love, Becky Hammon and reflecting on where they both were when the Grizzlies won their first playoff game on April 17th, 2011.
The second segment of the show will feature new GBB writer Charlie Gerber. We will get some background information on Charlie, ask him why he wanted to get into writing for GBB and why he is supporting Spain in the FIBA World Cup that starts up later this month and Becky Hammon as an assistant coach.
The final segment of the show will welcome Anthony Sain of 3 Shades of Blue to GBBLive for the first time. We will talk to "Sain Asylum" about Memphis' place in the Western Conference and how exactly the roster can and will shape up as training camp and the early season gets started in October.

Finally, in the third segment, one of GBB's newest writers Raleigh McCool will come on GBBLive to discuss how he got into the Grizzlies and the site. The Grizzlies' preseason and regular season schedule will be discussed, as well as how the roster compares to last season and how the West will possibly shape up.
