Using Gamification to Create AWESOME Presentations

    in Business

Hosted by Monica Cornetti - Rated #2 Gamification Guru in the world by UK based Leaderboarded

The key to delivering effective Gamified training is in the design of the activities you use throughout the session.

The right ingredients mixed into your learning activities should allow the participants to acquire knowledge and skill, rather than merely receive it (think active not passive.)

Activities should be relevant, challenging, and fun so participants want to interact with you and each other. Know your players and mix the appropriate amount of competition, collaboration, group and individual quests, challenges, and achievements.

In low- or no-tech gamification you have many options to get your participants building, creating, drawing, reflecting, discussing, debating, sharing, competing, collaborating… in reality the combination of possibilities is endless. Find ways to recognize, reward, share, gift, achieve status, etc. n

This week - key take aways from Level 3 of the Game the System™ design adventure you'll learn:

7 things to do to introduce AWESOME activities
Begin with a Bang - The 15 Minute Principle
    3 basic guidelines for sequencing

    Managing Millennials with Gamification

    in Business

With Low-Tech Gamification Guru Monica Cornetti

Is your organization ready for the gamers?

Join me as I review my observations and feedback from leaders, managers, HR professionals, and participants about Managing Generational Differences with gamification:

The implications of the increase in narcissism levels of today new worker could have on their workforce
The personality traits of members of each generational cohort
How generational cohort differences manifest in the work behaviors of individual team members
The lengths employers feel they need to go to in order to keep members of the gamer generation satisfied
How to praise properly without overdoing it

Generational differences in members of your team can manifest in the workplace, and look at generational definition of work, on the job assets, on the job liabilities, and preferences.

Make and share a basic action plan of how managers can use gamification to improve results and reduce conflict created by generational diversity in your organization.
