What happened to the victims of the Navy Yard Shooting cannot happen for the victims of the Fort Hood Shooting? We can change this outcome. I cannot do this battle alone or with a couple of people, but with the help and support of countless of believers in America & International we can turn this situation around by praying, fasting, and taking action. I am requesting believers to pray and fast on April 7. I will be fasting and praying until April 11 and I welcome as many believers to join me. In the name of Yeshua, I loose the power of the resurrection of Jesus/Yeshua over the 4 soldiers: Sgt. 1st class Daniel Michael Ferguson, Staff Sgt. Carlos A. Lazaney-Rodriguez, Sgt. Timothy Wayne Owens, and Specialist Ivan Antonio Lopez. It was placed in my heart to start the “Heal Our Nations” event, which is a 50 day event that was started on April 1st and the tragedy at Fort Hood occurred on April 2, which was the birthday of my mother. How ironic? We have 3 daily 1 hour worship, prayer, & praise calls: 9 a.m. , noon, and 3 p.m. EST ; Call 712-432-1500 Access Code: 437482#. We want people to experience miracles, signs, & wonders, as well as, resurrections at Fort Hood. These shows can be downloaded and played in the hospitals & morgues. If someone had passed away, in a coma, or near death, you can play the April 5 show for them to hear or put the phone to his/her ear (like one believer did in Apostle Guillermo Maldonado's book, "The Kingdom of Power; How to Demonstrate It Here & Now") during the 1 hour worship, praise, & prayer calls. We can help you. I ask others who know about deliverance ministry to join us as well. www.DemonBuster.com is an excellent website for deliverance ministry and prayers. We call for justice & plead for truth in Jesus'/Yeshua's name. We can change this outcome together! It begins with you! Visit www.ManifestTheTruth.com for information.

1) We'll also give an update on the Laquan McDonald murder case. Officer Jason Van Dyke has been charged with 1st Degree Murder but why did it take 400 days when the shooting was on video? 2) Thursday is Thanksgiving. We'll deal with some of the history of the holiday that Dr. Ishakamusa Barashango called "Misgiving Day". 3) Former Oklahoma City Police Officer Daniel Holtzclaw is allegedly intimidating witnesses during a Sex Crimes Trial where he is facing 36 counts of rape, sexual battery, etc. All of his 13 victims are African American Women. Maybe that's why there is not a lot of Mainstream Media coverage of this story. 4) This date in African American History.
Starting with the Pilgrims not only leaves out the Indians, but also the Spanish. In the summer of 1526 five hundred Spaniards and one hundred black slaves founded a town near the mouth of the Pedee River in what is now South Carolina. Disease and disputes with nearby Indians caused many deaths. Finally, in November the slaves rebelled, killed some of their masters, and escaped to the Indians. By now only 150 Spaniards survived, and they evacuated back to Haiti. The ex-slaves remained behind. So the first non-Native settlers in "the country we now know as the United States" were Africans. The Spanish continued their settling in 1565, when they massacred a settlement of French Protestants at St. Augustine, Florida, and replaced it with their own fort. Some Spanish were pilgrims, seeking regions new to them to secure religious liberty: these were Spanish Jews
Beginning with 1620 also omits the Dutch, who were living in what is now Albany by 1614. Indeed, 1620 is not even the date of the first permanent British settlement, for in 1607, the London Company sent settlers to Jamestown, Virginia. No matter. The mythic origin of "the country we now know as the United States"
Ceet the Author hails from South Philadelphia, where he began honing his craft as an artist as early as age nine. At age fourteen he wrote a short story for his high school English class titled, Summertime in my Neighborhood. Fifteen years later that story became the basis for Ceet's first official release, 2009's The Whore and The Virgin. The book became an instant hood classic and all of the positive feedback inspired Ceet to release his second effort, A Dog's Day, that very same year.
Ceet then began pursuing another passion of his, filmmaking and videography in 2010 by writing, producing and directing several independent film projects while releasing several more novels under the imprint of BRP Entertainment and with several projects down the line, Ceet shows no signs of slowing down...
Kvn Tajzea (Keh-vun Tah- Jhay) is more than your typical R&B singer, songwriter and actor. Kvn began his love affair with music and acting at a very young age. "I was a very sick child growing up and nearly died a few times. I wasn'treally allowed to play outside until the age of 7 because my immune system was so weak." He read, listened to, and watched a plethora of varying artistic expression. Even after becoming healthy enough to lead the normal life of a kid his passion for the arts continued to grow and manifested itself in a variety of ways ranging from poetry, drawing, songwriting and acting. Kvn is an accomplished vocalist with a four octave range whose smooth, syrupy and comforting voice conceals an old school rasp that lets you in on the pain and tribulation that fuels a tone of hope in every note he sings. "The First Return" is Kvn's debut project featuring the production of hit maker Ron Love of MonaRK Productions.
Join me, Why Yet, as I chat it up with both of these industrious artists.
David Maestas grew up in Vermont before enlisting in 1994 in the US Army with an Airborne Ranger contract. After almost 6 years in the 2nd Ranger Battalion he spent time with the Long Range Surveillance Detachment and 2-14 Infantry Battalion at Fort Drum, NY. His last 9 years in the military were with the 1st Special Forces Group having served as a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant, Intelligence Sergeant and finally a Team Sergeant of two Special Forces teams. He has earned two bronze stars amongst other awards over five combat deployments in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan for almost 4 years of time deployed.
Since he retired a year ago, he has become an entrepreneur having successfully started several businesses to include Maestro Strategic Solutions as his parent company. He also noticed that as a Veteran, finding the help required for himself and others was difficult to navigate through all the agencies, non-profits and businesses that help Veterans. He started My Ranger Biz to consolidate Veteran businesses to address Veteran issues as well as help Veteran entrepreneurs to get started in business.
Happy Turkey Day to all our vigilent and intellectually curious supporters! Check out a new episode of our Mid Week in Review podcast, courtesy of Afronerd Radio airing this Wednesday at 7:30pm EST. Join Dburt and Capt. Kirk as they pontificate about the following topics: more unrest in Chicago after a dashcam video is released depicting the tragic shooting of a Black youth by local police; did Amazon marketers go to far with their Nazi themed ad campaign for The Man in the High Castle online streaming series; is the recent uptick in racial events based on truisms or media manipulation? (i.e. claims of racism are now being levied against Harvard University for defaced photos of Black law school faculty members); Dburt does a reversal on the debate over allowing Syrian refugees into the US; in the wake of the Paris and Mali attacks, are African-Americans as invested in the terrorism debate as the general public? And lastly, the Atlanta Black Star site critiques actor, Will Smith views on race (sigh,,,,the arbiters have returned!) Call the hosts live at 646-915-9620.

The joy of being:
Ask yourself: Is there joy, ease and lightness in what I am doing? If there isn't, then time is covering up the present moment, and life is perceived as a burden or struggle. If there is no joy, ease, or lightness in what you are doing, it does not necessarily mean that you need to change what you are doing. It may be sufficient to change the how. "How" is always more important than "what".
See if you can give much more attention to the doing than to the result that you want to achieve throught it. Give your fullest attention to whatever the moment presents. This only implies you completely accept what is, because you cannot give your fullest attention to something and at the same time resist it.
Do not be concerned with the fruit of you action: just simply give attention to the action itself. The fruit will come of its own accord. This is a very powerful spiritual prctice...
