Join us on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. for the next edition of our podcast, America's Community Voices Network, onBLOGTALKRADIO.COM, with our special guest the newly elected representative for the Florida State House of Representatives, District 61, Mr. Edwin Narain. Since his election to office during the last election cycle, the freshmen democrat has made his debut in the Florida State House with great distinction. He was the first freshman ever elected to lead theminority caucus (unprecedented) and he was the chief sponsor of a bill that was passed into law to provide critical training to police officers to recognize the symptoms of a diabetic episode. Known as "The Arthur Green Act," this critical bill was sponsored my Rep. Narain after Mr. Green's untimely during a traffic stop in which he was suffering a hypoglycemic episode. The police officers, through no fault of their own, did not recognize the symptoms and attempted to arrest Mr. Green for erratic and DUI driving. Mr. Green collapsed and died in what was at the least a highly preventable death.

Reviewing the controversial loss to Florida State and evaluating the play of the Irish in Tallahassee.

Following a week layoff following the loss to Louisville, the Eagles are back for what might be their best and strongest opponent of the season - Florida State.
Few teams need no introduction in the way FSU does. The Seminoles are the defending national champions, their star starting quarterback as controversial as he is talented, the defending Heisman Trophy. Their team, well coached, is among the best in the nation, and they're in the running for a shot at the national championship's inaugural College Football Playoff.
On the other hand, there's much to talk about with regards to BC. Tyler Murphy will need to bounce back from his worst performance of the year, and the offense will need to get back to its basics. We're at the stage of the year where we know what we're looking for from the Eagles, and this gives us the chance to reset how it can work against a team like FSU.

The Tolling of Interstate 4 is being done with "Public Private Partnerships".
Public Private Partnerships violate the Florida State Constitution. Public Private Partnerships are the collusion of government and the private sector (see below). Federal funding is being used for I-4 and the Wekiva Parkway Toll Road.
Florida SR 408 Toll Taxes equate to a $2.00+ gallon gas tax. Toll taxes equate to highway robbery, AND they increase our cost of living and harm our national security. The Interstate Highway system was designed as part of our national defense and here it is being sold off. We must unite and stop this. "Dwight D. John and Dan are joined by special guest Bud Elliott (of Tomahawk Nation and SB Nation Recruiting) to chat about Florida State's title defense, Jameis Winston and some beer too, probably.
Christian Jones Florida State Seminoles
"I take football seriously," said Florida State linebacker Christian Jones at the Senior Bowl. "I know I'm a pretty good player, but I also understand a lot of stuff I can do to get better." One of the top overall athletes on the team and FSU's top returning tackler who started all 14 games at weakside linebacker in 2012. Made the move to middle linebacker in new defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt's scheme and performed above expectations. An impressive physical specimen who has above average speed and quickness, which made him a lock for a Senior Bowl invite. Jones is now in Mobile, Alabama for Reeses Senior Bowl and talking Florida State and NFL football.
