Rev. Edward Pinkney. --Civil rights attorney, Hugh "Buck" Davis the thrust [of the Berrien county courthouse] is to physically remove and destroy families through the use
of the criminal justice system. Every person they can put in jail; every person whose voting rights they can
revoke with a felony conviction; every person they can cause to lose their job by putting them on probation;
every person they can cause to lose the ability to pay for basic necessities through imposing ruinous court
costs and probation is all part of the process. In the 1960s, it was called Negro removal. In Bosnia, it was
called ethnic cleansing. and down south we have Irene Olive Cates in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Join me October 29, 2014 for an exciting episode of Talk with Tenney: A Conversation with Frank Blankenship: Underground Railroad Landing Zones
Frank explains to me, "I am working with a group of people who want to protect people facing involuntary outpatient commitment, a euphemism for forced psychiatric drugging, by helping them relocate outside of the state that would drug them."
Frank is a psychiatric treatment survivor and an anti-psychiatry human rights activist. With David Oaks, Al Galves and others Frank screened the Arlington Virginia American Psychiatric Association offices for normality way back in October 2007. Before moving to Gainesville, Florida, he lived in Charlottesville, Virginia. While in Virginia he served as point person for MindFreedom Virginia, and in Florida he is the contact person for MindFreedom Florida. Having completed both basic and advanced Leadership Academy trainings, Frank has co-facilitated Leadership Academy training sessions in Gainesville. Working with MindFreedom Florida, Frank helped bring Daniel Mackler to Gainesville for a film festival and panel discussion. He was the chair of the MindFreedom International Affiliate Support Committee and currently co-chairs the Landing Zone Committee. His current projects include an effort to introduce Open Dialogic practices in Florida, and he hopes to launch a mutual support group locally for people who wish to taper off psychiatric drugs.

Rev. Edward Pinkney, a renowned human rights activist, faces election fraud charges after organizing a recall petition to remove the mayor of Benton Harbor, MI, on the supposition that James Hightower would represent major corporate interests, not the people. Call-in at (347) 857-3293 to support Rev. Pinkney.
"With absolutely no evidence, I was charged with voter fraud and bound over for trial. The USA proclaims itself the 'land of freedom,' but the reality is we live under the world's most corrupt legal system. It has rigged courts, bribed judges, phony trials, extortion by lawyers, and over two million prisoners - more prisoners than any other country, in real numbers and proportionately," said Rev. Pinkney. "You can be sent to prison and even put to death with absolutely no evidence. The truth is hidden by America's corporate owned media ... They are afraid to tell the truth about Michigan's Emergency Manager system where rule is without the consent of the governed."
An all-white jury was selected for Pinkney's trial, which began on Rev. Pinkney's birthday in Berrien County. Pinkney is from Benton Harbor, an area that is 96% African American, but his jurors are from surrounding white towns. We hope his jurors recognize that "an injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere" (MLK).
Rev. Pinkney reports that Prosecutor Mike Sepic asked the jury pool several times, "Could you convict someone without evidence?" Sepic nodded his head each time, indicating that they should answer affirmatively. Sepic told the jury pool that evidence is not necessary to convict someone.
