Tonight we'll be joined by guest caller Leanna. Leanna, a student of Pole & Yoga Classes, is an "Xpose Fitness" Fitness Instructor who teaches Pole Classes, Floor/Chair Classes, & Sexy Stretch Classes. Her goal is to empower women to live fit and healthy lives by encouraging them to work out, lose weight, and feel great. As displayed on the slideshow, Leanna has tremendous flexibility and can bend, twist, and fold her body into angles and shapes most could only dream of. Leanna is fit, healthy, and wants everyone to know, you can be too!
Leanna started taking classes at Xpose Fitness in February of 2012. Having fun while getting in the best shape of her life, she soon realized this was her calling. Before you know it, she became a faithful member, taking two to three classes a day, four to five days a week. Leanna's outgoing personality and positive spirit landed her an instructor position in September 2013. Her classes will leave you feeling strong, sexy, confident, and all about "that workout life" too!

Original airdate July 2011
Did you know that besides this radio show, the Rogue Instructor (aka PendaGoddess) hosts another BTR show as well? It's called Virtual Fitness Wii FAB (For Absolute Beginners) and is where I first got started on BlogTalk Radio.
Virtual Fitness Wii FAB was created to discuss Wii exergaming and how fitness professionals could use this new format. Some of the shows really focussed on the fitness industry, and this is one of them. So I'm just moving them over here in case you missed those shows over there.
Gail is still going strong and is working in the fitness industry. This year she completed another Peachtree Road Race; number 21. We're planning to do a follow up show to discuss more industry insights. There are plenty of tips from Gail is this interview so make sure you take some notes.

Group Fitness out the Box
We are pleased to have the opportunity of airing this interview which took place in 2011. It's always a pleasure to talk to other group fitness instructors.
Even though it seems a challenge for instructors to stay on the topic of the business of group fitness, that is the focus of this show.
Do you currently teach group fitness classes?
How long have you been in the business?
How did you get your start?
How is your body holding up?
What do you do to stay healthy as a group fitness instructor?
What advice do you have, if any, for those in the business?
What are your specialties?
Have you developed a group fitness format?
If you would like to be a guest on our show, please contact MindBody Group Fitness Arts Foundation on Facebook. Give us a like while you're there and get the latest relevant information about this business of group fitness. Or submit your request via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Annamarie House, with over 20 years of experience in the field or group fitness, talks today about putting professional in your career as a group fitness instructor.

Gail McFarland is a fitness professional in the Atlanta-area who I've had the pleasure of knowing for a number of years. We used to bump into each other as we seemed to end up teaching at the same places. Here's her bio:
Gail McFarland is the published author of more than 100 short romantic confessions and stories and eight novels. She is also the daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter of African-American women who died of heart attacks.
Making a decision to change her lifestyle in 1985 led her to aerobics classes in College Park, GA -- and the rest was history, and a life of majorly intense workouts. A dedicated wellness/fitness advocate, Ms. McFarland is currently a nationally certified fitness instructor and consultant. As an aerobics instructor with more than twenty-five years experience, she has taught widely throughout the city of Atlanta and counts body sculpting and Pilates as her current favorites, though she will always have a soft spot in her heart for Step. Her community wellness activities include acting as a Health Promotion Specialist for Fulton County (Georgia) and working the Association of Black Cardiologists REACH for Wellness program.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. McFarland now makes her home in Atlanta, Georgia.
We'd love to have you join us! Thanks!
Gail "The Fitwryter" McFarland
It's time to stop thinking about living heathier and actually doing something about it! Host Cyrus Webb welcomes fitness instructor Tamara Jackson to Conversations LIVE to discuss what she is doing to help others become their best selves and howher book 265 Point shares not just her story but what others can use as motivation as well.
We will be talking with Charleszetta Smith-Ford, founder of Better Bodies 4 Us about Youth Fitness and how important it is to keep our children healthy. While searching out her passion and what moves her, Charleszetta realized that educating others on how to transform their lives with eating and living healthier has actually transformed her life as well. As a certified personal trainer, a group fitness instructor and a physical education teacher, all of this has moled Charleszetta into the business owner she has become today.
