    Matthew Robbins was born in New York City and went to the Johns Hopkins University, where he received a BA degree in Romance Languages. Shortly after getting his MFA at the USC School of Cinema, he began writing screenplays with partner Hal Barwood. Together, in a period of three years, they wrote and sold six scripts. The Sugarland Express was Steven Spielberg’s first feature film and starred Goldie Hawn. It won Best Screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival. For Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Productions, he co-wrote and directed Batteries Not Included. He also directed the comedy Bingo, for Tri-Star. Collaborating with writer/director Guillermo del Toro, he wrote Mimic, starring Mira Sorvino and Jeremy Northam. They also wrote Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark, starring Katie Holmes and Guy Pearce.Other screenplays written with Guillermo del Toro include The Count of Montecristo for American Zoetrope, The Coffin for Lightstorm Entertainment/20th Century-Fox and Wind in the Willows for Sony. He wrote the screenplay for Pinocchio based on his collaboration of the story with Mr. Del Toro, their stop-motion puppet interpretation of the Collodi classic for the Henson Company.  They co-wrote H.P. Featured in The Limited clothing store’s 2015 nationwide “New Look of Leadership” campaign, she’s been chosen and honored as a female leader for her passionate work as an author, journalist, radio personality, stepmother, and activist. A writer at heart, Raqiyah’s debut fiction novel, “The Man Curse,” out now, chronicles the world of Meena, a young women who spends her life trying to break The Man Curse and become the first woman in her family to marry.     David M. Gutel has been involved with film production most of his life, since beginning his career working on sets as a visionary in the art department, a young ambitious filmmaker for his first five years in the industry. David further continued his work with special emphasis on the art of Direction, receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production from Cal State Long Beach. There he received award, nominations and acclaim as a young director. David’s first three films received recognition and award from multiple festivals including Big Bear International Film Festival, Oceanside International Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, etc. Davids work titled “Peace of Mind” was a top finalist for Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, in conjunction with HBO’s season 4 of “Project Greenlight”, 2015. The film was selected from tens of thousands of competitor submissions to advance to the Top 200, runner up round. While continuing his amazing work as an on the lot Director at JIG Reel Studios in Los Angeles, Davids main passion project has truly become “What Child is This” written by Kurtis Anton. David has been working with Kurtis since 2014 soon after they met on the set of David’s film Peace of Mind. David played a key role in the development of the project early on and then together they filmed the opening scene of the feature film in January of 2015.David is a proven, very efficient, on budget, super organized, yet courteous and respectful Director.  . David’s background comes from shooting on 16mm and 35mm film. 
    David’s main philosophy will be his legacy as he has proved it….
