    What The Father Promised

    in Religion

Please  join me Tuesday May 19th at 11 am CST as we continue talking about the Gifts of The Spirit.

Did you know - it was a command to wait for the promise of The Father?

Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; (Acts 1:4)

for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." (Acts 1:5)

    Why?

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)

To receive power to be His witnesses..

This is confirmed again in Mark 16 - The Great Commission in His power .

Hope you can join me! Char

Join the Lady Father every Saturday afternoon at 3:00 pm for discussions on "life" and readings from the Rev. Susan Bowman's memoir, "Lady Father." This is her story - chronicling her perilous journey through the ordination process in the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Virginia in the 1980's, when women were not encouraged to apply, nor were they welcome. You can hear Susan's stories plus excerpts from "Lady Father" on her weekly show. The book is available on her website - books purchased directly from her site will be autographed by the Lady Father.

Latesha Clay -- 15 year old black girl locked in a rape cage for 9 years.

    in Entertainment

This off schedule episode will be centered around this one story.

We'll have our general news and comment, but we're breaking our week long vacation to cover this particular story.

Regular programming will return February 15th, 2016 10pm EST.

    Latesha Clay
What is intentionally left out of White Supremacist coverage of this story is that her biological father used her as a rape slave for profit.

This started when she was 12 years old.
She was arrested for robbing potential pedophile rapists from backpage.  This is the only thing these media outlets care about, is criminalizing her to justify her being sentenced to 9 years behind a cage where grown men will trusted to be alone around her with authority.

The Father Matters Show -The Love Tank

    in Dads and Family

On today's show we discuss The Love Tank with Vance and Rana Simms. To fill the love tank of the spouse, it is important to do things that they'll appreciate rather than what you want. While most women will like being sent flowers at work, some would just like the money and a full day at the mall (with you taking care of the kids that day). While most men would like toys (LCD screen, 6 hp mower etc), some just want you to come home stay with him and just chat. Find out what your own spouse would want, and appreciate.
