Carl Tedesco was introduced to ULTRA marathons in 2007. As he continued his engineering career with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University and working as a professor at San Diego State University, one of his students helped to inspire him to run more. Since then he has run numerous ULTRA marathons and completed five 100 mile races, San Diego 100 miles twice, Javalina Jundred, Chimera 100M, and Zion 100M. He continues to inspire students at San Diego State University to pursue careers in engineering as an advisor for the Rocket Club.
Co Hosts, Paul Thomas & Bobby Moon. LA musicians who formed a musical partnership "Spellbound" and have been performing and producing an expanding catalog of critically-acclaimed CDs for over 20 years. Spellbound is very concerned with what is happening in our atmosphere these days and have began researching this topic. They have also written a song "Poison in our Skies" to help raise awareness.
Special guest: Dane Wigington has an extensive background in solar energy. He is a former employee of Bechtel Power Corp. and was a licensed contractor in California and Arizona. His personal residence was featured in a cover article on the world’s largest renewable energy magazine, Home Power. He owns a 1,600-acre “wildlife preserve” next to Lake Shasta in northern California.
Dane focused his efforts and energy on the geo-engineering issue when he began to lose very significant amounts of solar uptake due to what ever-increasing “solar obscuration” caused from the aircraft spraying. He also noted significant decline in forest health and began testing and research into the geo-engineering issue about a decade ago.
Dane is the lead researcher for http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org and has investigated all levels of geo engineering from chemtrails to HAARP. He assisted Michael Murphy with his production of “What in the World are They Spraying” and has appeared on an extensive number of interviews to explain the environmental dangers we face on a global level. He lives in Mt. Shasta, California.
Ignore the propaganda about today's children in America's urban communities being lazy dropouts that only want tofight and sell drugs. It's not a bit true, and for those who worked with young people this summer, they discovered an enthusiastic group of youth who are excited about science, technology, engineering and math! Lauren Ward, author of The 6 Step Plan: Rising To Greatness To Fulfill Your Destiny, worked with students in the PUSH Excel STEM Program thjis summer, teaching them how to master the new media technology. A recent graduate of Howard University, she recognized that many youth have a burning desire to excel, and merely needed the opportunity to learn. It is our responsibility as parents to cultivate the natural genius in our children, and to ignore the propaganda that others continue to spread, making excuses as to why urban schools are underfunded and undersupported. We can turn our homes into institutions of higher learning. We can give our children a different vision of their future; we can teach them that they are here to take over and change the world that others have destroyed, by discovering new ways to produce fuel, travel, grow food, and communicate. We can instill in our children the reality that the word is falling apart so that they can rebuild it the way it should be - with fairness, justice, and respect for all. Lauren Ward give tips on how to motivate youth to strive for their highest potential.
Paul Sidney certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will explain the improvement methodology Value Engineering. He will explain when to use Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma or Value Engineering to tackle problems in your business.
Also we will get our weekly coaching tips from our business coach Doug Winnie.

Engineering for Kids comes from the mind of educator Dori Roberts. With an extensive educational background in math and technology education, Roberts taught engineering at the high school level for 11 years. During her teaching career, she saw a dire need for math, science and engineering programs. To fill this void, she started an afterschool club that participated in various engineering and science-based competitions.
After membership hit 180 students and the group won multiple state championships, she decided to tailor the program and apply it to a wider age demographic. With the extremely positive response she received from parents and administrators, Roberts saw a great business opportunity, leaving the teaching profession and devoting 100 percent of her time to developing the Engineering for Kids program.
Today, Engineering for Kids offers a suite of programs for children ages 4 to 14 introducing them to science, technology, engineering and math through a variety of workshops all aimed at developing problem solving skills. Programs include after school programs, evening classes, in-school field trips, workshops, birthday parties, home-school programs, scouts workshops, and pre-school programs.
Engineering for Kids began when she noticed that there was a lack of engineering programs in the area to enroll her then 6 and 8 year old children. We will speak with Dori Robers about this interesting franchise concept.
Packaging engineering function can be challenged by inadequate integration within Design Control of new a product’s development life cycle. The challenges can range from insufficient packaging design to missed timelines.
In this show, Abhishek Gautaum, Packaging R&D Manager at ConMed, will speak to packaging engineers facing similar challenges as well as those seeking to integrate packaging engineering function within Design Control more effectively. Gautam will provide an overview of pitfalls from inadequate integration, key elements of packaging design control and best practices for effective integration.

This week on One Cell One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy welcomes guest Dane Wigington, lead researcher for geoengineeringwatch.org, to discuss the growing problem of – naturally – Geoengineering.
While we tend to think of this area as being mostly related to mining, geoengineering to Dane covers a variety of topics, all of which he hopes to discuss on the show. From the mysterious to the mundane, geoengineering is having a profound impact on our lives in ways clear as say and others not so obvious.
With an extensive background in solar energy, Dane is a former employee of Bechtel Power Corp. and was a licensed contractor in California and Arizona.
