    Guest Rep. Bill Flores - #Omnibus, #PowerofthePurse, #ISIS, #Campaign

    in Politics Conservative

Rep. Bill Flores from CD-17 in Texas will join the program tonight to discuss the recent passing of the Omnibus Appropriations Bill.  We've been told for many years how the House of Representatives controls the "Power of the Purse."  From setting up budgets for school lunch programs to the funding of the military and VA services, the Omnibus bill essentially approves money to be spent on government programs.  Conservatives have been counting on this Constitutional requirement in order to stop some of the assaults on our taxpayers.  From funding Planned Parenthood, to funding President Obama's nightmare healthcare program, Congress, more specifically the House of Representatives has the final say in whether or not programs get the funding to survive another year.  This recent funding bill has upset many Conservatives / Republicans who felt let down by the passing of this bill.  We will talk with Congressman Flores and get his take on why he voted for the bill.  Also, we'll get some insight into other important issues like ISIS and the conflict in the Middle East.  Maybe we can even getr a few thoughts on the Presidential race.  Tune in !

Guest, Dr. David Oualaalou - #Poverty in America

    in Politics Conservative

Join me tonight as my guest, Dr. David Oualaalou discusses Poverty in America.  We've seen poverty on the rise, and with a still slowed economy, regular working families are feeling the pinch more now than in the past few decades.  But being poor doesn't just mean you can't buy new clothes, or new cars / homes, in many cases, it means more.  It's a fact, people of means tend to teach their children successful principles that help them acheive more in life.   Children born and raised in poverty simply do not receive the same advantages as those with means.  But, what does this all mean?  Is it possible to break the cycle of poverty?  I think it is...I'm a living example of breaking that cycle.  Dr. Oualaalou will shed some light on this subject and provide fact-based insight on this growing epidemic.  Tune in or call in...

10/15/15 - Thursday Night with David Oualaalou, Our American Education System

    in Politics Conservative

Truth is hard to find these days.  With so many situations taking place around the world, it seems like the U.S. is in a tailspin.  But how do we stop it?  Where do we start?  We talk about the Economy, Immigration, Terrorism, and the supposed "War on Women," but what about our Education system?  This is the true battleground for the future of the United States of America.  We will be joined by David Oualaalou.

Dr. Oualaalou is a global affairs analyst, blogger, author, and professor. A former international security analyst in Washington DC, he is currently an adjunct professor of government at Mclennan Community College (MCC) and an international security guest-lecturer at Baylor University. His analyses on global affairs have appeared in many newspapers and online journals, including the Waco Tribune-Herald(owned by Berkshire Hathaway, Inc), the Huffington Post, South China Morning Post (SCMP), the New York Times, Defense Alert Journal, MSN News, Al-Jazeera, Security News Wire, and Freedom and Justice Gate Journal in the Middle East, among others.

Mr. Oualaalou hold an MA degree in international relations: security policy from St Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX, and a PhD in Public Policy: Homeland/International Security from Walden University.

He is the author of forthcoming books: US Ambiguous Foreign Policy in the Muslim World: More than a Handshake, (Lexington Books, December, 2015) and A Nuclear Iran: the New Geopolitical Landscape in the Middle East, (June, 2016).

  • 9/24/15 Inviting "Moderate Muslims" to Call-In (347) 637-1055

    in Politics Conservative

Tonight's program, we hope to get some Moderate Muslims to call in and denounce the actions of ISIS, and Jihad.  We want to hear from the Peace-Loving Muslims in America.  All we can hear is the voice of Terrorism.  All we see are videos of Murderers yelling "Allah Akbar."  Where are the Moderates, the ones who love America?  For the next few nights, we will continue this call for a discussion with Moderate Muslims.  If you are a Moderate Muslim who loves this country, please call this program.  Your voice needs to be magnified.

  • 9/29/15 - Skyrocketing Electric Bills, Obama's EPA Overreach

    in Politics Conservative

What's going to happen if Obama's EPA gets their way with new regulations forced on States?  Texas has already done the assessment, and it doesn;t look good.  With attempts to stop man-made global warming, the EPA is making demands on businesses within the energy sector to reduce emissions and their carbon footprint.  In order to comply, it will cost a fortune.  In addition, Texas will pay the highest price, since much of our economy relies on the Energy business such as oil, natural gas and coal.  With mandatory reductions being called for by the EPA, businesses will be forced to comply.  Is it Federal overreach?  We''' discuss this and more tonight on the Duke Machado Show.  Please feel free to call in and voice your opinion and share your thoughts.

Can Americans Stop the Iran Nuclear Deal?

    in Politics Conservative

President Barak Obama, using Secretary of State John Kerry, has negotiated a deal with Iran to supposedly prevent Iran from ever obtaining the capability of producing a nuclear weapon.  For decades, the United States has dealt with Islamic Extremists from Iran who have murdered Americans and continue to threaten the destruction of our nation.  In addition, they threaten the Jewish people, Israel, with total annihilation.  In this program, we dissect the deal and go into specifics. We will also get into some of the details no one's talking about and visit with others and get their thoughts on what Americans can do to Stop the Iran Nuclear Deal!
