Donna DiPietro is a psychic and paranormal investigator. She has worked on many mystifying cases including haunted houses and a haunted church, finding lost valuables, predicting the future – including that the Pope would be shot 24 hours before it happened.
She has investigated, in accurate detail, the largest art heist in history. She has the gift of mediumship and has spoken and written in other languages, that she does not know, to get messages to loved ones from the other side.
Donna had an amazing out-of-body experience on Valentine’s Day and was saved by EMTs. She is a recent widow who has had contact with her husband who promised her that he would try to make contact to prove that there is an afterlife.
Donna hopes that by making her cases public, it will help in the advancement of paranormal research. She has been a guest speaker at “Mystery Writers of America” and is documenting her cases on her blog www.psychicstudy.blogspot.com. She is also putting the final touches on her book.

Not everyone is rejoicing in this great Christmas season. Many are truly dreading December 25th. Apostle LaShawna Holland-Simpson will be sharing some coping techniques. Our Queen of the week is Jeanne Marie Thompson. Book Chat, Pastor Q and Donna, A Christmas Surprise by Lucy Heath
2014 has been a rough year for military personnel and members of the veterans community. The year began with a budget crisis, following a government shutdown and over five years without a signed and approved Federal Budget. And while some sense of fiscal responsibility seems to have finally come to the White House and Congress, things for those who still serve, and have served, continue to go from bad to worse. Forced drawdowns of active-duty military personnel continue, despite escalations of enemy action in places like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria. The Department of Veterans Affairs, despite the firing of its top leadership and years of saying that they are, "working the problems," in fact was proven in 2014 to be a criminally corrupt and morally bankrupt organization totally failing in their chartered mission. And as if to punctuate the continuing downward spiral for individuals who serve and have served, service/veterans benefits continue to be eroded in the Fiscal Year 2015 budget, which offers only a paltry 1% pay increase to those who go into harms way for America.
To get a better sense of just what military personnel and veterans will be facing in the coming year, join military historian, author and journalist John D. Gresham (@Greshamj01) for Military Monday at 1 p.m. Eastern. His guest co-host this week will be journalist Donna Lyons. Herself a military/veterans spouse, Ms. Lyons writes extensively about the service/veterans community, and has her own intriguing observations regarding their present day experiences and service. Callers are encouraged to call in and offer questions and opinions to Mr. Gresham and Ms. Lyons, in an hour that we are dedicating to those who serve, those who have served, and those who will serve. Please join us.

It took Catherine (Cat) Brubaker and Dan Zimmerman 5 months and 5,300 miles to cross the USA (diagonally) on recumbent trikes. Blowouts, tumbles, and close encounters with bears and wild turkeys still left plenty of time to meet folks at the heart of our country. It also left time to get lost in one's own mind.
Cat and Dan rode to raise awareness for TBI and for Stroke, but I wonder what awareness they discovered within themsleves along their journey. And, I mean to find out. :)
Every TBI survivor and caregiver has encountered a fork in the road that has diverted his or her life-plan. A car accident, a fall from the roof, doing one more chin-up, or a door literally slamming one in the face are just some causes of traumatic brain injury. College plans, walking down the aisle in the perfect dress, or the coveted job quickly slip from reality as dreams turn to struggle. These unexpected life-happenings that divert one from his or her chosen path in life can be devastating. But as Yogi Berra once said, "If you come to a fork in the road, take it." Life is all about choices!
