Host Julie Forbes covers some dog super bowl stories including a Patriots player who is playing in the Superbowl with a heavy heart after three of his dogs were killed in a kennel last summer in Arizona. Also the horrible GoDaddy commercial that portrays online breeders' callous relationship with their "inventory". NOT FUNNY.

Matthew 15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

We are nearing mid-Winter in this part of the world, the Season of Blue Shadows. On cold, sunny days the bright Sun helps the bare-limbed trees cast enchanting blue shadows across the sparkling snow. Let's gather around an imaginal hearth warm with firelight from the crackling apple wood burning merrily. I will be joined by friend and story teller, Lynne Burns, who will be bringing us some engaging tales and poetry and a report of the winter at her cozy home in Five Acre Woods.
Make yourself a mug of hot cocoa or maybe mulled cider and join us for an hour of lively words, good stories, and sharings to drive away the chill.
Recently a woman in Houston, Texas kept a promise that she made to herself. She promised herself that if she didn't find the right man by age 40 that she would marry herself. So she did so. It was a rather elaborate ceremony from what I could see. What are your thoughts? Chime in with my guest panelist #TeamAshbree

Legal Eagle and the Coach Radio with Daivid Altenbern & Bryan Kiser with their guest Eric Wilson & Mary Black:
Eric Wilson - I have been a health and life insurance broker for over a decade, I been on other shows nationallly discussing Obamacare. I have been cited by CNN, FOX,ABC, NBC, etc. I am an insurance broker, who has survived in the ACA environment. When the ACA reduced commissions, many brokers vanished or got out of health. I am still thriving in he environment. It took a lot of long hours early on to get started, the. A whole lot when the ACA passed. The ACA is challenging for many, so I help then navigate insurance products both on and off the marketplace. For seniors on Medicare, I help them understand Medicare and their options. Lastly with the country over $18 trillion in debt offer tax free retirement solutions.
Mary Black - I am a retired competitive sled dog racer, and am now an Executive Partner with a $2 Billion health and wellness company teaching people how to be healthy and also teaching them about time freedom. In the 22 years my husband and I had a front yard full of sled dogs (we had as few as 30 to as many as 90 at any given time), we learned a lot about how to be a leader and live a life of passion and purpose. Spending literally thousands of hours a year behind a dog team, there is never a dull moment. There is always something to learn...from stressful situations you wonder how you are going to get out of, to proud moments as you see the athletes you raised yourself meld into a fluid team pulling together. Life is a blessing and those four-legged souls taught me a lot about how to live life.
