Darlene is an advisory Board Member for the Diverse Male Student Institute (DMSI) at Prince George’s Community College and the Women’s Legislative Empowerment Committee of Prince George’s County.


    June Rochelle has been singing to soothe and lift listeners since the age of 12 years old. Her range bridges the alto and soprano registers. She is a powerhouse vocalist and songwriter, penning all the songs she has recorded to date. She comes from a musical family that started one of the first black owned record labels (Naptown Records) in the city of Indianapolis that gave many young Midwest artists their music start. June’s mother Josephine was a vocal opening act opening for such acts such as Patti Labelle, the Spinners, the Temptation’s, and other Motown greats.
